DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
Greetings and well met again, Citizens of Arvat. I, Solar Man, have again returned
as your Duelmaster. This is my third straight turn as your Top Warrior in this fine
city. I retained my title by defeating that Venomous One that has plagued my team
for the past few turns. It was an easy win over him.
After the fight I was met by a members of the Gladiatorial Commission where they
informed my that I have earned my invite and I was granted immortality. I also will
be leaving the City of Arvat forever. I will be venturing forth to the Isle of the
Eye to prove my mettle against the best of the best. I am so honored at this
achievement. It is with a heavy heart that I bid you all farewell. I shall miss my
guildmates and stable very much.
For the last time. Your Duelmaster,
Solar Man
I must say that I'm not that surprised that Solar Man was the first of the Saratoga
Glory Originals to get his invite. Warriors of his style usually have success in
their basic careers. I'm just surprised that he was invited so soon. Last turn once
I added up his Political Points I realized that as long as he survived he would
receive his invite. I must say it was a bit shocking because I didn't think they
added up this quickly, but I am pleased non the less. For those interested in such
things, Solar Man is 9(+1)-10-15-21-15-4-11. He graduates with an Advanced Expert in
Decise and Experts in Attack and Defense. He was completely mode. The only thing he
really had going for him was Great Damage and that 21 Wit. His favorites are
Shortsword, Mod/Very Low, Defense skills and the Decise tactic. He will fight in the
Dark Arena in an attempt to get a kill and will then promptly retire.
While I am surprised that he is the first of the original five, I can only hope that
he is the first of many to follow. With any luck I'll have another warrior to write
a Duelmaster's Column next turn. I have gotten used to the view from up here. I can
only hope that it will continue. Hail, Arvat!!!

SPY REPORT
Ready for some action-packed adventure, some thrills, chills and spills? Well
fergit it, cause this is the Spyreport for ARVAT. MVP award for BASKERVOLE?
FISHERMAN'S WHARF's proud of him after beating STYLISH and getting 16 points. Talk
about yer big time losers! TASSALTER got smashed by DANGEROUS CRIMINAL, and lost 9
points! The Duelmaster isn't going to stop just cause he's Number One! SPYMASTER
knows this. He was Dark Arena Challenged by the Duelmaster. Don't you think the
Duelmaster is being unfair? I think SOLAR MAN should let SPYMASTER be Duelmaster for
a while, without fighting about it. I hear the top team insists all their warriors
get nine hours sleep. They want photogenic fighters for PR photos.
So just why would someone becomes a warrior anyway? It can't be for these
really neat Spyreports can it? Can FISHERMAN'S WHARF's BASKERVOLE be more popular
than me? He was challenged the most, but is that really the same?
Challenges, revenges, Bloodfeuds. All ARVAT ever talks about is fighting! Me,
I'm more laid back. Pinch me, I must be dreaming!!! SOLAR MAN returns from the Dark
Arena, maybe a "little upset" at his SARATOGA GLORY teammates... Hey you guys, don't

Cartel Crimson Ascension Family. Lady Martilyo and Rook are NO LONGER members of the
Vendetta Cartel.
The Vendetta Cartel is divided into "Families" under the leadership of Captains;
who have been appointed by the VC God Father known throughout the dueling land as
Master Darque.
Hammer is now the Captain of the Vendetta Cartel Tarantula Tribe and the veteran
manager extends an invitation for prospective membership as a Probate [ONLY 2 Probate
positions are available in the VC Tarantula Tribe at the present time!] to any Newbie
Manager who qualifies under the following conditions:
1. Newbie Manager MUST have Online Access for Email communications! [Hammer is
presently living in Qatar and Lieutenants Maximillian and Firehawk are living in
Canada; so Email Communication is a MUST for consideration!]
2. Newbie Manager MUST have the time and funds to create 2 new stables to be
placed in 2 separate Slow Arenas [the cost of running 1 stable in a Regular Arena!]
to actively participate on a monthly basis with the other 3 T-Tribe members of the
