Hope you enjoy the show. Oh, who am I kidding? I already got paid! Hey everybody,
watch out for DESERT FOX, who flew up 29 points in the rankings after mashing LITTLE
RAINBOW like a melon. Keep your eye on this guy. Ya know, some days it doesn't pay
to walk out on the sands. LITTLE RAINBOW was beat by DESERT FOX and drops 26 points.
Well, everybody's pal STARBREAKER moved his record to 17-2-1 by defeating M.
CHARDINEE in the Duelmaster's Title Bout and gaining 4 recognition points. Advice to
bashers--never force anything, just get a bigger halberd!
Here is other news that is of note. Did you hear that SARATOGA GLORY was most
avoided team this week? Well, knowing the personal hygiene of SARATOGA GLORY's
warriors, I'm not surprised! Okay, so I may not be funny, but catch CALL THE
PRIEST's act in the arena. Those acrobats seem to be fairly deft at running from
SARATOGA GLORY. Well dang howdy, but if challenges were votes, BASKERVOLE would be
president. Although it may be a contest he doesn't want to win. In a touching
display by a 'touched' warrior, KILLING MACHINE went after BASKERVOLE, who was higher
by 24 points. Well, when the dust settled, KILLING MACHINE subdued BASKERVOLE.
Remember that an arena is not always a safe place to be, but it is one of the
most interesting, though! Knowing when to use the right tactics at the proper time
is a very important step on the road to Duelmaster.
Well, there's the manager of the ARVAT giving me the 'cut' sign (or is that
'They're going to strangle you in the alley?). C'mon, Leadfoot, let's make some

FACE-TO-FACE XXXIV
Our next Winter Face-to-Face will be held on Martin Luther King weekend, Friday
through Sunday, 14-16 January 2005, at the Embassy Suites in Tempe, Arizona (4400 S
Rural Rd--this is the same hotel as last year). Room rates are $139.00 per night,
1-4 occupancy, which includes breakfast. The rooms are blocked. The reservations
number is 480-897-7444; tell them you're with the "Reality Simulations Face to Face
Convention" block. Our room block will be released in mid-December, so please make
sure you reserve your room before then!
Room rates include a full cooked-to-order breakfast and a complimentary two-hour
manager's reception. There is a free shuttle to the airport, as well as free parking.
The hotel is located down the freeway in Tempe. All rooms have high speed internet
(for an extra charge). There is a fitness center, jacuzzi, and pool, and of course a
bar and Mexican restaurant inside the hotel. And there's Denny's right across the
street. Look for transportation info in the tournament information sheet.
The tournament information sheet/strategy sheet should be out sometime in late
November/early December.
