SPY REPORT
Thankyouthankyou. It's great for me, The Unknown Spymaster to be back in ARVAT.
Hope you enjoy the show. Oh, who am I kidding? I already got paid! We now have a
new top team for all of you guys to dogpile on. SARATOGA GLORY now holds the crown
and they are betting they can keep it. DEVIL ADVOCATES is no joke as it posted a
4-1-0 week advancing from 3rd place to 2nd place. Hey everybody, watch out for
STRATOSTAR, who flew up 23 points in the rankings after mashing LOGGERHEAD like a
melon. Keep your eye on this guy. And falling like a basher in the top ten was S.
MOE DIUS, who dropped 10 points after a disappointing (to say the least) bout with
EMBEZZLING SCRIBE. Well, everybody's pal SAVORY moved his record to 16-4-1 by
defeating SENSOO O SURU in the Duelmaster's Title Bout and gaining 10 recognition
points. 4 out of 5 gladiators surveyed protect the body, so try and avoid aiming at
that location.
Here is other news that is of note. Here's a song for you: Who's afraid of the

ARVAT's afraid of the big bad DEVIL ADVOCATES. Tra la la la la! And you guys like
to boo me? Well, unsling your rasberries, cause DEVIL ADVOCATES beats feet every
time DEVIL ADVOCATES smiles at them. Try farming, eh? Well dang howdy, but if
challenges were votes, TASSALTER would be president. Although it may be a contest he
doesn't want to win.
Being a spy is great--other people die and you spend the rest of the day
drinking to their memory. Better tanked than dead! KILLING MACHINE defied all odds
and slew BANDIT PRINCE in the Dark Arena. The only ones displeased were the
buzzards, as BANDIT PRINCE's meat is notoriously tough. Ask not the elves for
counsel, for they will say both yes and no. Silly buggers, eh?
Well, there's the manager of the ARVAT giving me the 'cut' sign (or is that
'They're going to strangle you in the alley?). Well, there goes another Spy Report.

Savory -- Under the circumstance, I'm not even going to complain about you getting
the win and three skills and two ratings and the title and me just escaping with my
life. Because now my life's going to be a lot longer, and there won't be much
gladiating in it. Although I do hear that I may get sent to Barikala, which would be
a rotten thing, since nobody ever comes back from there. But Jorja says there's an

Several questions have been asked about Slaughter's Challenge that I'd like to
address and clarify.
1) All Prizes must be used on the contest team, this includes the resurrection.
Remember any fast arena team should be able to transfer to a slow arena
(except for arena 82, I believe).
2) Warriors will be allowed to fight and run in the dead tourney, should there
be one, and return if an opening can be made without breaking the rules
(i.e. only one DA fight allowed per team).
3) If you win your single DA match you do not get another. It's one use of the
Dark Arena win or lose so if you want him/her/it dead be sure and throw the
match!
4) The resurrection potion's longevity has been extended by the commission to 6
months but the other potions (favorites, and +1 bonus) must still be used
within 2 turns and on a 5 FE or higher warrior. The resurrection can go on
any warrior regardless of FE.
