SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly ARVAT games. My praise to THE STORMLORDS for their
3-0-0 week this time out. Indeed, it was a skillfully fought round deserving of
notice! BRONZE GOLEM caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as it
skillfully bested CHASTITY and was awarded 15 points in recognition. In one of the
week's more notable duels, ULTHAR ULSAY put down ROLAND, causing him to lose 17
points of recognition in the process. The city has turned out in honor of GRETH, for
with his arena victory he may now lay claim to the highest position in the city!
Informants "close" to the city champion have told me that he never fights without
pantyhose on beneath his armor. Watch out!
I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently
transpired. Indeed there is much I would report. My inside sources tell me that the
team to beat in ARVAT these days is PHILANTHROPISTS. At least, most blades in town
are looking to avoid them. Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it was
that spent the better part of last week avoiding PHILANTHROPISTS. Indeed it was THE
STORMLORDS. Mighty fighters cannot but expect competition from those below.
LOGGERHEAD take warning! You have more than a few enemies in ARVAT. I can not but
mention with disdain the name of DAMNATION who this week posted a challenge to a
warrior a full 12 points below in the rankings. I thought DAMNATION showed great
skill and promise when he subdued LOGGERHEAD. All right, so I slept through it! Big
deal!
Is not Death a warrior's foremost adviser? Warriors, may this counselor stand
ready at your right hand forever! JUSTICE must hold silent, for this week he was
humbled in the arena by a successful Bloodfeud won by ROLTON of GEMSTONE BEASTS.
Hail ROLTON for thy victory! Some say a warrior is judged by the way he bears arms.
One thing is sure, better a dagger in hand then a sword on the belt!
A thought before I go. Each warrior practices one style, but must not the wise
manager learn the secrets of them all? Sadly warriors, now longer can I keep thy
company nor savor the ale of thy fine city. Depart I must and soon! Till next we

into town. So sorry! Ya right. Actually, I will fight where, when, and how I want.
Cowardice has nothing to do with it. I happened to land in this backwards hick town
randomly after a tournament awhile back and I definitely don't want to spend a lot of
time here, the sister/brother and daughter/father thing in this town is outrageous!
Anyway, this will probably be Rolton's last tourney before retirement so I will take

The Olympics have arrived!
The Mordanti Olympics, having been gone for six years, have returned to the Mordanti
Alliance, sponsored by Amicitia Primoris. Teams have competed against each other for
recognition and notoriety four times in the past. It is far past time for the fifth
Mordanti Olympics to be held. The Mordanti Olympics shall be held in the Mordant
arena (DM-1) from May 1st (T544) through Oct 30 (T557). There will be a
'registration period' lasting until T543, where teams will be allowed to register by
activating in Mordant and declaring their participation in the personals. Rules will
be posted in the Mordant arena (DM-1) newsletter no later than T543, but shall be
available online before then. An announcement will be made as to where they will be
posted. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
