SPY REPORT
It's me, The Unknown Spymaster here with my bag to give you the news on last
week's fights. We now have a new top team for all of you guys to dogpile on.
LUROCIAN GUARD now holds the crown and they are betting they can keep it. Coming up
with a solid 3-2-1 outing, CAESAR'S THUGS has advanced 3 places in the rankings.
Advancing in the rankings was LUROCIAN GUARD who went from last turn's 12-8-2, to
this week's record of 16-9-2. Hey everybody, watch out for TED ICKENS, who flew up
21 points in the rankings after mashing COMMODUS like a melon. Keep your eye on this
guy. Ya know, some days it doesn't pay to walk out on the sands. SEXTUS was beat by
LARS and drops 14 points. In front of all the crowds, MISERY took the Duelmaster's
crown for his own. I give the bum two weeks. Advice to bashers--never force
anything, just get a bigger halberd!
Let's dig a little deeper into what's happening in the ARVAT arena. Did you
hear that CALL THE PRIEST was most avoided team this week? Well, knowing the
personal hygiene of CALL THE PRIEST's warriors, I'm not surprised! Okay, so I may
not be funny, but catch CAESAR'S THUGS' act in the arena. Those acrobats seem to be
fairly deft at running from CALL THE PRIEST. Well dang howdy, but if challenges were
votes, HERON would be president. Although it may be a contest he doesn't want to
win.
Death is kind of like a new puppy: he's always around wanting to play. (Ha
Zontani, how's that for a wise saying?). TERROR says to his dog--'Who should I fight
this week?'. Dog says 'STONE GOLEM'. So the guy dies. Moral? Put lying dogs to
sleep. Yes, and another newbie bites the dust as DEATH ROW goes down under the sword
of CYRUS. Thanks to this, CYRUS now has 40 recognition points. Congrats to GELEN
for revenging the death of his teammate (but more importantly, feeding ISA a bit of
dirt). In the 'Oops, What Have I Done?' category, SAPHRONICUS was mashed by JERRY
HAHN, who let SAPHRONICUS know that killing members of DEVIL ADVOCATES is a no-no.
Ask not the elves for counsel, for they will say both yes and no. Silly buggers, eh?
Well, that wasn't too bad; Alarond told me that the people in ARVAT have no
sense of humor. Or maybe that they were senseless. Well, there goes another Spy
Report. Good luck in next week's fights. Its been real, and its been fun, but it

I am back in the arena and thinking back to those days in 1984 where I was a
novice and clueless manager.
Now, 22 years later it looks like I am an ancient and once again clueless
manager.
I am looking to recover some old warriors. Since none of them are Aimed Blows,
they are no threat to win anything. I just want to see how they turned out.
