DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
I have returned yet again. Just one more turn left until I go inactive for the
tourney. The Trainer has high hopes for me since I runner-upped Apprentices and TV'd
Adepts in my only 2 tourneys entered. Stratostar will be joining me as an inactive
as he will be running in theAdepts tourney. It looks like only Personal Legend and
Thunder Sword willbe active for a short while. The Trainer has grown weary of
Topiary so he will be fighting at night. He was just a stop gap and it was hoped
That he would provide wins but since he has failed to due that as of late the boss
decided it was Topiary's time. He will be missed but at least he was given a shot.
It is good to see Arvat growing so nicely. I would like to welcome Shadow Rangers,
Fishin';, Jamaican Superheroes & Disillusioned to our fine arena. We hope you all
enjoy your stay and hope that you all stick around for a while. I must say that I am
very disappointed in Caesar and his absence. I understand that "things happen" but
after pleading for us to return only to leave once we finally do return is very
disappointing. It seems apparent to us that the Mighty Caesar no longer has what it
takes to win and kill. Unfortunately they should now be viewed as a former team of
glory. The Temple of Caesar is closed.
Challenges go out to Justice and Demetren again. I hope to be here one last turn
before I go inactive.

SPY REPORT
Good day, friends and fiends, welcome to your friendly neighborhood spyreport.
I doubt ARVAT will ever be the same. It seems the training can make the difference,
as ANGELS OF PAIN is pushed out of top team by LUROCIAN GUARD, who came from 3rd with
a 3-2-0 this turn. RILL'S GCSC2 stable has parlayed this turn's 3-2-0 into a 6 space
move up the rankings. This brings them up to 6th place. Good work, guys! And let's
see, ANGUISH fought HEARING AID and gained 16 points and contributed to ANGELS OF
PAIN's 3-1-0. HEARING AID has lost to ANGUISH, falling 12 points, while helping make
DISILLUSIONED a 1-3-0 turn. Defending his title for another turn, SILVER TRAIN kept
ANGELS OF PAIN's warrior, JUSTICE, from claiming the throne. Can someone confirm a
rumor for me? I hear the top team makes their losing fighters do dishes at The
Dripping Blade until they win. Maybe?
He who challenges well, fights well. He who avoids without cause, shall lose
for good reasons. My mama told me that one. LUROCIAN GUARD has cause to stand tall,
as they were ARVAT's most avoided team. A smart manager knows this is a team to
beat. And avoiding LUROCIAN GUARD more than any other team we find DEVIL ADVOCATES.
ARVAT, are we going to accept, or respect this sort of thing? Well, sports fans,
take notice that SARLOW from FISHERMAN'S WHARF was ARVAT's most challenged warrior
this turn. Tsk, tsk, tsk. DEMETREN, does your manager know you're challenging down
26 points to fight HERON from FISHERMAN'S WHARF? We're not surprised to hear that
DEMETREN beat HERON, but I bet it would be interesting to hear why RILL'S GCSC2 made
such a challenge. I don't know about you, but RAGE challenging down 22 points to
FISHERMAN'S WHARF's SARLOW, is not really worthy of ANGELS OF PAIN. I thought
challenges were for warriors, not cowards looking for easy wins. RAGE overcame
SARLOW, is nothing sacred?
A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man only once. Wise men know this to
be true. Is it really true that ARVAT has more dishwashers per capita that fighters?
Just thought I'd ask...
Thought for the day, a new sword shines bright, but the notched sword sings the
sweetest. Always good to rest in ARVAT, but never good to wear out my welcome. Look

RSI is now taking rollups for a slow version of the No-Tournament arena. Send your
rollup to RSI listing the arena as "Slow No Tournament". Sign and send in the
following pledge:
* I pledge that I will not send warriors from this team to a Tournament, nor will I
use a Tournament prize on a warrior from this team.
* I pledge to run a full team when I run turns in this arena. If circumstances
preclude my running less than a full team I will notify the Player Committee.
* I agree to abide by the decisions of the Player Committee.
* I understand that any warrior that participates in a Tournament shall be sent to
the Dark Arena until they are dead.
* I understand that any warrior that receives a Tournament prize shall be send to the
Dark Arena until they are dead.
The following are the rules for joining this No-Tournament arena
1. No tournament play (Dead tournament or otherwise)
2. One team per manager
3. Team starts with new rollup (or a zero fight equivalent team is transferred into
