DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
Good day citizens of Arvat, it is I, S.W.A.T., your king. I am proud to report
that all the flying bugs have been swatted and swept away, that was only a cleaning
crew in the throne room and DM's private chambers, there was nothing Secretive going
on and there were no bugs left behind. The reports of a Secret passage being added
are completly false. Yes I know there were many boxes going in and out of my
chambers but I was only redecorating and going thru old records to make sure nothing
was lost and I had my staff cataloge and organize all the old records. They are very
neat and no finger prints were left unnoticed, nor were there any dirty finger prints
left by my staff. We are very careful to preserve the integrity and honesty of all
your records. There were no pictures or videos left behind that were there before we
got there. Have no fear, all your Secrets are safely in our hands and will only be
used for the prosperity and protection of our fair city and on the off chance they
are required in the court of law. You can put all your future fears to rest as we
have checked every nook and cranny of the DM's private chambers and throne room and
nothing was left that you can see, we are very neat and tidy. Everything is where it
should be. Enough about what I have or have not been doing over the last 2 weeks, on
to our plans for holding on to the throne and all the women that come with that
position. I have cast my challenge Distortion on the off chance that the Devil
Advocates do not BF this turn. I have cast my second challenge to Take Your Lumbs
since if I did not get my first challenge it is probably because the BF went thru and
I do not wish to fight another ST for the third turn in a row.
One last thing before I go, Monica and I did not have sexual relations... Monica
and I DID have sexual relations but we are both consenting adults so nerts on you!

SPY REPORT
If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
ARVAT brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. If this keeps up, GIANT KILLERS,
you'll have to shine swords instead of use them. A drop of 4 in the rankings? Of
course, we're all terribly impressed to see FRANCIS MH win a fight and gain 21
points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, LISSIE POOLE beat BABY HUEY and BABY HUEY lost 12
points. You're breakin' my heart. DEE N. EMMI challenged ARVAT's Duelmaster for a
shot at the throne. And it's out with the old, in with the new, as DEE N. EMMI takes
the Title and last week's bar tab from the old Duelmaster. Heh, heh. Kickbacks and
bribes, kickbacks and bribes, how else do you think some of these guys win their
fights? Skill? Ha!
Well, let's take a look at some more misdeeds of you miserable sword-boys.
ARVAT, I am losing what little hope I had in you. THE CRIMSON CUP the most avoided
team? What insult will suffice, I cannot say. And it looks like PAINFUL THOUGHT
avoided them the most this turn. What a pack of would be losers, if you ask me.
Hmph. DISTORTION was challenged more times this turn than the Duelmaster. Now was
the DM insulted or feared? Heh, heh. I guess I can give a little credit to T ON of
BOWL O'RAMA for challenging up by 21 to SIR VEILLANCE. T ON lost to get 46 points of
recognition.
Death and Taxes. The less death I see, the more it taxes my patience. Let's
see if anyone's dead or dying. A big yahoo goes out to TIA MATTE this turn, for
revenging DEVIL ADVOCATES' bloodfeud against DEATH BY DESIGN's warrior DISTORTION.
Heh, heh, heh. Not that I'll be buying the drinks, but I'll be glad to see BUSTED
SHINS and PAINFUL THOUGHT at The Welcome Wench tonight celebrating their bloodfeud
victory over WOB. Titanium shields and bamboo daggers, guess what brave team is
developing these kinds of weapons?
