Notes from the arena champ.
Good Eveining Arvat, I have defended the throne and so I sit here looking down
upon the less fortunate. I like this chair. I hope to ride out the rest of my time
in Arvat sitting upon this exquisite chair. It is amazing how comfortable it is.
The cushion hugs my gluteous maximus like it has never been hugged before. Oh the
glory of it. When you work out as much as I do your bum gets sore. Nice to have a
seat worthy of my exquisite bum, don't you agree? I'm sure you do. How can you NOT
think I have an exquisite bum. Look (stands, turns bum to audience) is that not the
most exquisite bum you have ever seen? You know what makes it even better? When you
have nothing between the cushion and the tushion (drawers fall to the floor); ahhhhh,
sooooo sweeeet... this is the life. I am going to sit here and enjoy this for a
while. The rest of you can go about your business preparing your strats on how you
are going to pry my warm firm tush off of this seat. I have given my first challenge
to Drogon as he is the #1 seed. I don't remember who the second one went to as they
do not matter much when you are resting your laurals upon such decadence....

SPY REPORT
It's me, The Unknown Spymaster, back to give you this week's Spy Report. Sit
back in your seats and we'll have more fun than a barrel of Zontanis. Coming up with
a solid 1-0-0 outing, ANGELS OF PAIN has advanced 3 places in the rankings. It looks
like the guys(?) at OLD GEEZERS had a good week as they went 5-0-0 to put them in 5th
place. I guess steroids help! Hey everybody, watch out for GROUND CHUCK, who flew
up 22 points in the rankings after mashing KID DYNAMITE like a melon. Keep your eye
on this guy. Ya know, some days it doesn't pay to walk out on the sands. PYROMANIAC
was defeated by STEEL GARTEN and drops 14 points. HONG KONG PHOOEY got through to
the Duelmaster this turn. No doubt he was more than anxious to kick UNGNOME
SOLDIER's tail out of the throne! Going for the gusto and coming up with aught but
bloody knuckles was BUFFY'S DINER's HONG KONG PHOOEY, who was turned away from the
Duelmastership by UNGNOME SOLDIER. An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but an
onion a day keeps T.P.s at bay.
Let's dig a little deeper into what's happening in the ARVAT arena. Here's a
song for you: Who's afraid of the big, bad STRAGETY, DAMMIT!? Big bad STRAGETY,
DAMMIT!. Big bad STRAGETY, DAMMIT!. ARVAT's afraid of the big bad STRAGETY,
DAMMIT!. Tra la la la la! Okay, so I may not be funny, but catch SECRET SQUIRRELS'
act in the arena. Those acrobats seem to be fairly deft at running from STRAGETY,
DAMMIT!. And who is this DISEMBOWELED DORA you ask, with 86 points and a 18-30-2
record. Ooh, the tales I could tell! In a mismatch, our friend A. POLLY YONN of
DEVIL ADVOCATES got heroic notions and challenged SKINNY PETE. What did it get her?
A 6-3-0 record, that's what. Trading many whacks on the head and a loss for 3
recognition points, A. POLLY YONN shows that a gal doesn't have to be good to get
places.
Death is kind of like a new puppy: he's always around wanting to play. (Ha
Zontani, how's that for a wise saying?). It's not often when you see a 10-3-0
warrior like HONG KONG PHOOEY kick the bucket. I wonder if BUFFY'S DINER will
recover from the blow. In the 'Oops, What Have I Done?' category, BLOATED BARBARA
was mashed by WHEELCHAIR, who let BLOATED BARBARA know that killing members of OLD
GEEZERS is a no-no. Here's some advice: warriors with little wit and will may
encounter problems on the trail to the Isle.
Well, that wasn't too bad; Alarond told me that the people in ARVAT have no
sense of humor. Or maybe that they were senseless. C'mon, Leadfoot, let's make some

Announcing the 1st Veterans Ballot for the Shadowspire Hall of Fame.
Here are the voting rules.
First Ballot: Anyone that has played a turn in Shadowspire during turns 1-200 is
eligible to vote.
One ballot per player. Having multiple teams does not mean more than one ballot.
Give Team name and Manager/Real Name when voting.
Vote for a max of 10 warriors on the ballot.
You CANNOT vote for your own warriors during the first vote.
The top 10 warriors receiving votes will go to the Finals Ballot. (Any ties for
tenth will be also be included in finals.)
NOTE: All warriors that DO NOT receive at least one vote will not be eligible for
future HOF ballots.
The Finals Ballot:
It will be a YES or NO vote by all players that have graduated a warrior from
Shadowpsire in the first 200 turns.
For a warrior to be inducted into Hall of Fame they must receive at least 60% yes
vote.
Ballots are available at the Shadowspire Hall of Fame at Google Drive (Click the
81HOFBALLOT pdf or excel file, the print or download option is at top of page) or
requesting one by diplo to Clan Longbeard(39) in DM 81 or by the email listed below.

How to place your votes:
1--You can print the pdf ballot and fill out, then diplo to me or ask for my mailing
address by private message to mail directly.
2--You can download the excel sheet and fill out and save, then email ballot as an
attachment. (The excel Ballot is protected, so you can only write in the proper
areas.)
3--You can just email your Team name/Manager/Real Name and the names of the 10
warriors you are voting for to the email to cjcaviness1962 at gmail dot com.
Anyone that knows players that have played in Shadowspire that are not currently
active, please contact them and ask them to participate in the voting, they have
