Notes from the arena champ.
How could I forget to write a column for all to enjoy. Leaf Piler, I'll bet you are
green with envy, knowing that you will never have a warrior as great as I. Or even
half as great. I would suggest that you do the world a favor and fall on your sword,
but you would just poison the ground and kill the worms. Woe it must be to be you, I
could not imagine the shame. To all others it is great that you are hear but I am
sorry you have to smell Rake, just stay upwind from it. I must be off!!

I can't believe the violence in NIATOLI ISLAND! I still haven't told Mom I'm
writing Spyreports. She'd have a cow! Well, here we go... I don't wanna hurt
anybody's feelings or anything, but SEA DOGS really goofed with their 0-0-0. I
talked to MALEFACTION's manager before the fights. He said, "We're gonna do good."
And look at this: 5-0-0! Psychic, or what! MVP award for THE DEACON?
MALEFACTION's proud of him after beating EMBEZZLING SCRIBE and getting 20 points.
Talk about yer big time losers! DIRTY HOWEL got smashed by MONOLYTH, and lost 15
points! Don't you think the Duelmaster is being unfair? I think KOBALT should let
DARK JOURNEY be Duelmaster for a while, without fighting about it. I hear the top
team insists all their warriors get nine hours sleep. They want photogenic fighters
for PR photos.
Look, you guys stick to fighting, all right? LIVING HELL was the most avoided
team. Is a 5-0-0 record really that scary? Is there some deep dark secret why
LIVING HELL's been avoiding LIVING HELL so much? Or is it just that they're too
scared?
What does a fighter fight for? I mean, the crowds don't give a hoot if someone
gets killed. Not after four more fights. How cruel! STORM BRINGERS heartlessly
sent his to TALON STORM certain fate in the Dark Arena. Is a 13-13-1 bad or
something? Hey! Quit laughing! Just because HEAD HUNTER had 14-16-0 was no reason
for STORM BRINGERS to send him to the Dark Arena! Stop it! Pinch me, I must be
dreaming!!! SHAR returns from the Dark Arena, maybe a "little upset" at hers STORM
BRINGERS teammates... THE SEWING CIRCLE figured it was better to let TOBY kill NINE
PATCH unpunished, and not worry about getting nailed again! What if they had a fight
and nobody showed up? I'd be out of a job, that's what!!!
I really didn't, you know, study when I was a kid. Who would've guessed I'd be
a famous Spyreporter? I'm getting tired of writing this stuff, so I'm calling it

There has been a run lately of personals and columns turning up in the wrong
arenas. When you email in something, check and make sure you have the correct
arena number! It's easy for a finger to slip onto the wrong key. When the
receipt comes back, check again to be sure it went where you intended!
