Notes from the arena champ.
You sorry saps certainly are gluttons for punishment. It appears I am so bad,
despite having the political points, I haven't recieved my invite. What does that
say about you? Now I am not going to play your sick little game this turn, as it is
apparent many of you enjoy recieving my brow beatings. So much so, you are starting
to all remind me of Padre's mother. Especially Spirit. If he grew his hair out and
pulled those last three teeth, who would know the difference?
I have to mention the lowly tatics of some. It seems it's acceptable to sit out
turns, many in some cases, and yet be granted your challenges on return. This was
not always so, and is the pure scumbag tactic of the unskilled. Those who know they
cannot possibly match up with the superior abilities of managers, such as the AA,
have often used questionable methods. You know who you are. Next time you will be
mentioned by name, for all to mock and ridicule.
Lastly, we have an old team back. Welcome back, Knights of Legend!! Now get the
hell out.

Hail and well met warriors of NIATOLI ISLAND! Know me for who I am, Zontani
Sharp Eyes, Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Fortune did not smile upon BAD
COMPANY this time out who this turn suffered a fall into 12th position in the wake of
a 1-4-0 round. Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the corner!
Witness how this week KNIGHTS OF LEGEND went 4-1-0 to move up 7 in the rankings. My
praise to THE ILLEARTH for their 3-1-1 week this time out. Indeed, it was a
skillfully fought round deserving of notice! WILLIAM WALLACE caught the eye of many
in the gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested MIGHTY KASHITZ and was awarded
22 points in recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, FEVER DOG put
down THE RABBI, causing him to lose 10 points of recognition in the process. Who
here was not present for the title fight this week as PRINCE VALIANT boldly
challenged SMIRK SMACKMORE in order to strive for the Duelmasters honors? The city
has turned out in honor of PRINCE VALIANT, for with his arena victory he may now lay
claim to the highest position in the city! Would you believe that over half of the
old women in NIATOLI ISLAND seem to feel that they could fight better than you
gladiators?
Many and various are the arts of battle. In NIATOLI ISLAND "art" is a word that
has long since passed from the language! NIATOLI ISLAND, city of gladiators! Mighty
among the names of thy guilds is BIG LAKE BANDITS, a guild shunned and avoided by
many in the weekly duels. Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it was
that spent the better part of last week avoiding BIG LAKE BANDITS. Indeed it was
KNIGHTS OF LEGEND. Mighty fighters cannot but expect competition from those below.
SPICOLI take warning! You have more than a few enemies in NIATOLI ISLAND. As a
gladiator gets older, the icy grip of fear lays hold of his heart. True, DEVIANT
MONK? Who could miss your "brave" challenge of NO-ARMED BANDIT? All the city knows
the duel went in favor of DEVIANT MONK. I shall not fail to spread the word in other
cities of this "mighty" victory. A match that raised a few eyebrows at the games
this week, it seems that HOSTILE HOBO posted a challenge against the more highly
recognized SIR EDWARD. The results, you ask? Well, the firebrand HOSTILE HOBO was
overcame by SIR EDWARD. Remember warriors, this is the discipline of steel.
Vendettas. Bloodied blades and broken spears. Indeed the city has seen more
than its fair share of red in recent times. My hearty congratulations WAR PIG, for
thy revenge upon JARVIS, slayer of thy fallen comrade. Next time he will know
better, eh? OG must hold silent, for this week he was humbled in the arena by a
successful Bloodfeud won by SPICOLI of NYE MAULERS. Hail SPICOLI for thy victory!
Dark alleys may hide both secrets and assassins. In the arena there is only the
brightness of steel. Keep vigil always!
The girls are as pretty in NIATOLI ISLAND as ever I remembered them....and the
fighters as ugly! Don't let your reputation slip! Ahh, but I can hear the spires of

Den/Brashur -- Brashur is finally right about something. Mine are scrubs and it is
good you enjoy beating them. Started with 3 very frail & expected them to die. The
new ones are frail and DA meat, too, after 1 more turn. Just trying to make do a few
turns to see what the Rugs gave me. Not a good idea. Going for upgrades and it will
be interesting to see what you say when I beat you with some real warriors. -- Padre
Denise -- Not only did you misrepresent the previous turn's matchup between Brunhylda
and Immoral but even after the loss you repeated the lunacy by challenging Brunhylda

cramp, the census form has been eliminated, effective immediately. Managers may
register their warriors' races and/or favorite sayings by simply writing them on a
separate piece of paper and submitting them to the Commission. Each warrior may have
up to 15 favorite sayings. Each saying must be categorized Jeer, Gloat, Boredom, Ouch,
