SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly MURSKA games. Former top team THE BEARS was unseated
this week as PHILANTHROPISTS 3 moved up from 3rd ranking to take the top spot with a
3-1-0 record for the round. Fortune did not smile upon BUSY, BUSYTOWN this time out
who this turn suffered a fall into 7th position in the wake of a 0-2-0 round.
Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the corner! Witness how this week
CHILDREN OF LLYR went 2-3-0 to move up 3 in the rankings. Did only my eyes note the
3-1-0 record which PHILANTHROPISTS 3 managed to post this round? I don't doubt that
such a record will draw challengers! TAKE COVER caught the eye of many in the
gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested SOYOYAY and was awarded 22 points in
recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, TAKE COVER put down SOYOYAY,
causing him to lose 20 points of recognition in the process. Due to his absence and
inability to defend the throne, HUCKLE CAT has lost the title of Duelmaster. The
city has turned out in honor of TAKE COVER, for with his arena victory he may now lay
claim to the highest position in the city! Heed this! A seer has warned that if
exactly 6 die in duels this week, the whole city shall perish! Just remember...5 or
7!
But come now, let us look deeper into the maze of contention and crossed blades
that is city MURSKA. MURSKA, city of gladiators! Mighty among the names of thy
guilds is THE BEARS, a guild shunned and avoided by many in the weekly duels. If you
didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard pressed to find any of
PHILANTHROPISTS 3 last week. Busy avoiding THE BEARS? Mighty fighters cannot but
expect competition from those below. MR. FIXIT take warning! You have more than a
few enemies in MURSKA. I can not but mention with disdain the name of MOZART who
this week posted a challenge to a warrior a full 11 points below in the rankings. I
thought MOZART showed great skill and promise when he won victory over KAI. All
right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
Is not Death a warrior's foremost adviser? Warriors, may this counselor stand
ready at your right hand forever! Fate is a fickle mistress. She showers the
miserable with fortune but sets enemies against the victorious. Remember this!
A thought before I go. Each warrior practices one style, but must not the wise
manager learn the secrets of them all? More than a sharp eye must I keep, indeed a
stout pair of legs must I keep as well! The endless paths of Alastari await me!

P.S. I tell you what, though, this business of water falling out of the sky is over-
rated.

Several questions have been asked about Slaughter's Challenge that I'd like to
address and clarify.
1) All Prizes must be used on the contest team, this includes the resurrection.
Remember any fast arena team should be able to transfer to a slow arena
(except for arena 82, I believe).
2) Warriors will be allowed to fight and run in the dead tourney, should there
be one, and return if an opening can be made without breaking the rules
(i.e. only one DA fight allowed per team).
3) If you win your single DA match you do not get another. It's one use of the
Dark Arena win or lose so if you want him/her/it dead be sure and throw the
match!
4) The resurrection potion's longevity has been extended by the commission to 6
months but the other potions (favorites, and +1 bonus) must still be used
within 2 turns and on a 5 FE or higher warrior. The resurrection can go on
any warrior regardless of FE.

Amendment for "Fratsfas Quest for the Best!"
Managers that have teams already established in Fratsfa need not have (3) three
warriors in the initiates. FE will NOT be a factor. Stables may be entered at any
time. Just announce your stable in the p-ads.
