SPY REPORT
It is I, Novgorodny Vir, Spymaster of Spymasters. Look on my work, ye mighty,
and despair! Nothing is certain in JHANS, with changing loyalties, changing
Duelmasters. Write this down: new top team--5440 OR FIGHT!. What's a move up by 4
you ask? (alright, maybe you didn't ask) Cause for celebration, according to 5440
OR FIGHT!. Practice pays for SOCIETY MENACE, who pummelled ATOMIC SEXBOT, to pocket
23 points. KLINGER certainly had a baffled expression on his face, after losing to
TROJAN MAN and losing 15 points in the process! The arena was more crowded than
usual this time, as LAST RESORT faced JHANS' Duelmaster. In JHANS, nothing is
permanent (except Death), and we find ourselves a new Duelmaster, LAST RESORT. Word
has it one team in JHANS is using psychics to predict wins. They lead a charmed
life!
My mother wished me to avoid conflict, and seek the gentle trade of Spyreporter.
But warriors aren't supposed to avoid fights! Like a horde of jackals fleeing from
the lion, so did the "warriors" in JHANS avoid 5440 OR FIGHT!. As a woman of good
breeding scorns the "warriors" of IRON TIGERS, so did that sorry team shy from 5440
OR FIGHT! Is it charming personality? Conversational abilities? Good oral hygiene?
Whatever it is, LAST RESORT is the most challenged warrior.
The moving sword slashes, and having slashed, moves on... Those who owe BUCKET
HEAD of 5440 OR FIGHT! money and had written him off, take note: he'S BACK FROM THE
DARK ARENA!!! AND he'S MAD!!! I get a special thrill from seeing innocent spawn
like ATOMIC SEXBOT from HELTER SKELTER get pointlessly killed. Good show, SOCIETY
MENACE! (No mercy.) Oh hard! that to strike a flame, the match itself must needs be
wasting!
Do not think spyreporting in JHANS is the highlight of my life. Keep those
sands bloody and the buzzards fat! Do not despair! I shall return!-- Novgorodny Vir

manager lists. It has seemed though, that more people want their names listed, even

ANNOUNCING THE RETURN OF STORMCROWE SLAUGHTERHOUSE
The last Stormcrowe Slaughterhouse was one of the closest and most exciting
contests ever held in Alastari. Such an epic demands a sequel. Therefore, Master
Darque and Jack Wolfspider are pleased to announce the return of the Stormcrowe
Slaughterhouse.
Where? Stormcrowe DM 45 (slow). When? The Slaughterhouse returns on Turn 207,
due August 19. How can you get into the action? Bring a team (one per entrant
please) to arena 45 and announce your intention to join the contest in the Personals.
Rules: This time around the rules are very simple. Each warrior win against a
higher rated opponent (one or more points higher in the ratings) brings you 10
points, against even rated opponent 7 points, lower rated 5 points. Wins against
NPCs or by a warrior who downchallenges are worth 0 points. Points are doubled for
kills. All warriors in the arena whether participating in the Slaughterhouse or not
are fair game. Points are totaled weekly, and the contestant whose team has racked
up the most points at the end of 10 turns is declared Slaughterhouse Champion.
Prizes: To be announced; we're still talking with RSI about it. Figure it will
be something pretty good. But hey, who needs prizes when the honor of being
Slaughterhouse Champion awaits!
