Notes from the arena champ.
My fellow Jhansites,
How are you today? My manager, Turtle, told me to say a few words this week
about the contest. But first I would like to address my title fight with Creepshow
Killer. How Dare You Hit A Girl Like That!! He-hee, just kidding. That was a good
battle you gave me. I think one more minute and the results would have been
different. Good fight. Anyway though, like, a few words about the contest.
Wolfcats: Now I bet they look odd. Oh never mind, it seems their strategy is
to only fight their flag bearer and get 2 pts a turn. Perhaps fight someone else in
pop-in's on different turns. Cowards.
Suicidal Dreams, Memphis Mafia, and Bookies Brothel: Hmmm, since Bookie went
into Talon Darkhart mode, I ain't gone over there so I don't have much to say about
them.
Revelation: Uhm, Polarius' team. The manager that brought out Talon. They're
still friends away from the arena and I can't figure out why Polarius' managerial
decision caused to much debate. Oh well, Polarius manages Blitzkrieg and I think a
couple of others so he could still hold on and win this.
The Chads: Don't know, don't care.
Almost!: Furious Inhaler, better watch out, I hear there's plans to devastate
you. Hee-hee.
Kamikaze: My team and all we got to say is Froth you all!! KLKKLK Boom!!
5440 or Fight: Traitor scum. But I want to know why everybody always says
Droith can't finish what he starts and can't keep things up around the house. He
lazy with financial problems or what?
Blind Hypocrisy: Hyckell and Jyckell sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G, first
comes the 'Love', then comes marriage. Here comes Jyckell with a funeral carriage.
Can't you feel "the Love" tonight. Killa's wha-what!!

SPY REPORT
Much has changed in JHANS since last I was here. Never fear, Olaf Modeen adapts
to many situations, as do all successful fighters. Who can explain it? Not you, not
me, not LEGENDARY BASTARDS' opponents, after watching them shoot up the ranks from
20th to 5th. BLITZKRIEG bit the big one as they could not win. They dropped from
7th down to 22nd! Are you guy giving lessons or what? Some people say I ramble too
much, I don't say anything relevant. I repeat myself. I ramble. Well KARNIVORZ
moved up 9, to 8th. What's with KIZZY LYNNE? She actually beat STDS' SYPHILIS, and
walked away with 25 more points from the fight. Laughs were big at BOOKIE'S BROTHEL
while they watched KIZZY LYNNE clobber SYPHILIS. He lost 23 points and got bruised
from objects thrown from the stands. JHANS has a Duelmaster who doesn't sit back and
get lazy. She challenged CLAN BATTLEAXE II's CY (9-6-0), which should prove (ahem!)
interesting. CY was reminded on the sands why OBLIVIOUS is Duelmaster. I suppose
you want to hear some rumors and dirty gossip about your fellow fighters? Tough!
Speaking of cowardly avoiders and unfair challenges... The most avoided team
was ALMOST!. In my day, no team with a 55-43-4 would scare me off! What's the
problem, MY BEST BUDS? What do people see in SPEKTER? His 7-4-0? KARNIVORZ ain't
talkin', but he's got 53 points. Maybe MY BEST BUDS' PANAMA RED is one of those gals
who likes pain, or something. That's what she'll get next week, after challenging up
28 to FURIOUS INHALER. PANAMA RED found one way to advance: challenging FURIOUS
INHALER and losing, but getting 3 points. No brain, no pain. RAVEN DARKHART of
BOOKIE'S BROTHEL knows how to pick 'em. She challenged THAI-STICK of MY BEST BUDS
who is up by 19. Now was this a wise move? RAVEN DARKHART perhaps got hers just
desserts, seeing as she lost to THAI-STICK and ended up with 8 recognition points. I
hate going to the effort of writing about the kind of fights that RED DRAGON gets in.
He fights people like CUX, 12 points below. I thought RED DRAGON showed great skill
and promise when he beat CUX. All right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
A fighter's lot is filled with strife, revenge, and killing. Some fighters
don't accept this. The best do. Hmm... More surprises must remain in store for me,
if CHERYL can return from the Dark Arena. Yeah, yeah, SANDPAPER CONDOM killed
SUICIDE SLUSH, who was "too young to die." Well, he was a fighter, and that's what
you have to face. I like to see warriors put young whippersnappers in their place.
I guess you could say THE FALLEN'DEVASTATOR did just that. Right PORN IN A BARN?
WASTEM WUORNOS was plum wore out after MORAXX pounded 'im silly in a Bloodfeud.
ANARKYSTS'll have to get a little better before going after MORAXX again! Is it my
imagination, or are fighters getting younger every day? To die so young, so
gloriously!
Well, I'm pretty much through. You guys need to get back practicing. The end
of another Spyreport! That's cause for celebration in my book! Time for my

Jhans -- Some of you might have noticed (or perhaps not) that I very rarely offer any
writings in the personal ads. This is true in practically every arena that I am in.
If you read through last turn's personal ads you should see the reason; the personal
ads quite commonly are full of nasty comments and insults, most of which are rather
unimaginative. I usually stay out of the political side of the game, preferring to
just fight my warriors and leave it at that. The 'Sloshers have had a history of
spouting some zingers in other manager's directions, but we try to make them a little
bit more light hearted albeit equally as cutting as others. We also pride ourselves
in trying to be a bit more creative than the norm. But nowadays it seems that the
personal ads are more "personal" than they once were, so rather than getting involved
in personal ad shouting matches, I generally remain silent. With that, good dueling
to all, and let's all have a fun contest and remember what the game is supposed to be

Invitation to Newbie Managers

As a Captain of the Vendetta Cartel, Hammer has recently dissolved the Vendetta
Cartel Crimson Ascension Family. Lady Martilyo and Rook are NO LONGER members of the
Vendetta Cartel.
The Vendetta Cartel is divided into "Families" under the leadership of Captains;
who have been appointed by the VC God Father known throughout the dueling land as
Master Darque.
Hammer is now the Captain of the Vendetta Cartel Tarantula Tribe and the veteran
manager extends an invitation for prospective membership as a Probate [ONLY 2 Probate
positions are available in the VC Tarantula Tribe at the present time!] to any Newbie
Manager who qualifies under the following conditions:
1. Newbie Manager MUST have Online Access for Email communications! [Hammer is
presently living in Qatar and Lieutenants Maximillian and Firehawk are living in
Canada; so Email Communication is a MUST for consideration!]
2. Newbie Manager MUST have the time and funds to create 2 new stables to be
placed in 2 separate Slow Arenas [the cost of running 1 stable in a Regular Arena!]
