Because Cosmo is the realest of the real, illest of the ill, the k in killa, the
freakshow in thriller, the D in domination, the Outlaw in Outlaw Nation, the blade in
your chest, bring'n more freshness than the Crest. He's like a coyote on a goat,
always slit'n throats, fading all your hopes, known for scrubbin with them soaps!

Bring a body bag...cause he'll be representin til his skin sags! He's the nastiest

pillar of the DM community! Now that he has reached and exceeded that ever
impressive and elusive 1000TH FIGHT, it just gives him one more thing to add to his
infinite list of accolades! I mean this cat is the Froth in Frothingslosh! Why do
you think you call them the Sloshers now? He's the Legendary in Bastards...
seriously, we're still giving him residuals for that one. Bastard! Who else is
breaking a grand at 500? I mean the cat has more kills than most of you have wins!
"Oh, but I transferred my team ages ago.!" So what! You're still a poser! "See
what had happened was..." Don't be that guy. You know you owe homage to one of the
greatest managers in DM. If you've ever been in run-offs then you know what I'm
talkin bout. "Well, I have this many TVs." Get your hands out of your pockets
because Cosmo has produced more wins per dollar than a majority of managers out
there. When the Commission gets his strategy sheets they're like, "Damn! Score
another for Cosmo! Sorry, Joe!" Just last night Sheila Greywand was asking me if I
thought we should rename this place CosmoWorld. Hey, if you cats wanna rename Duel
II how bout you rename it SKOOL U! Cause that's what Cosmo does! I'm telling you I
had the Commission hard code team number 256 into BOTH my avoid slots, and the guy
likes me! Last time I invited this cat to my family reunion he tried to stab my mom
with a spork! That should tell you how ruthless he is. I mean he's the Ultra in
Maniac! Enough of trying to educate you color by number drop outs. When all you
have left are scattered corpses on the sands, there's only one of two things that
could've happened. You were either trapped in a poorly ventilated room with Talon or
you wound up just another stepping stone in Cosmo's path to Godliness! Bustas get
served!
Cosmo and Helter Skelter, the highest praise is sung unto thee. For you have
blinded us with your glory and humbled us with your blade. We salute you, brother.

you, the scores of warriors who have died by your blade, and the Resurrected Ones.
In dedication and celebration of Cosmo's unprecedented and undisputed domination
of Jhans I would like to share a few past turns with you. Unfortunately most of my
recorded history of Jhans is hidden away in a distant vault, sadly unreachable in
time for this momentous day. However, I think I will share more each turn until I

Four riders in black rode hard across the Rirorni Plains and the army followed.
It had been three days since they had begun their journey from deep within the
Daggerspine Mountains. From Rodeki to Sibikhas people were beginning to talk about
the riders and the earthshaking sound of the marching soldiers. No one yet knew who
they were; it seemed that there had been no moon as the armies passed near the
outskirts of the cities. Few had dared ride out to see what terror was approaching
and those that did saw only 4 riders, all wearing hooded cloaks, and the cloud of
dust which had developed over the moving troops. However no terror came. As people
of Rodeki and Sibikhas cowered in their homes they heard the sound of the marching
army pass them by. As silence settled back into the air only the distant sound of a
wolves howling could be heard. By daybreak of the fourth day the rumors of the
massive armada had already spread throughout the lands. It was rumored that the
troops may by taking the Great Eastern trade route towards Jhelum or maybe straight
across the plains into Jhans. No one knew for sure. The only thing certain was the
uneasiness and overwhelming fear that was felt by everyone who had heard the story.
Days later outside of Jhans the massive legion of heavily armed soldiers were
encamped only a few miles from the city. They had waited for two days for the three
managers riding from Jhans to meet them. The four riders rode out to a crest over
looking scattered trees and a city in desperate need of cleansing. They sat silently
on their war-horses scanning the horizon as a full red moon slowly crept across the
pitch black sky above them. The city of Jhans could be seen in the distance before
them and the sprawling sheep and cattle farms behind them. In the distance they saw
three cloaked figures approaching but then lost them amid the scattered tree lines.
Finally the riders reached the crest but one was missing and left behind a lonely
painted mare.
"Where is the other?"
"He said he would be here momentarily."
"We risk plenty for this assembly, you'd think he'd arrive more promptly."
"Patience, he has never disappointed and his motives are always just."
"Dare I ask the purpose of this council in the cover of night?"
"Soon all shall be revealed but the circle must be complete."
Suddenly a blood curdling roar drowned out the howling of distant wolves
worshiping the night's red moon. As the six riders all turned in perfect harmony
they drew their blades, playing a beautiful symphony of metal against metal that rang
out across the now deathly quiet night air. A giant beast leapt from the high grass,
pounced in front of them and skidded to a halt at the point of their thirsty blades.
It seemed as though the beast had already found his victim which hung lifelessly from
his powerful jaws.
"A spy," the beast snarled as he spit his prey out. "I will finish him later,"
he added as he watched his prey hurtle into a nearby tree and slump to the ground.
He then reared on his hind legs and trudged up to the painted mare and removed a
cloak from its black leather saddlebag. He spun the long, dark, hooded cloak in a
flourishing motion and revealed the seventh dark rider.
"Glad you could join us old friend. I see you're still up to your old tricks."
"What are the ignorant ramblings and lies from within the walls?"
"Some pray for salvation from those who would oppose us."
"Others fear that our march only means the city's ultimate demise."
"What of those that feel we come to cross swords with them?"
"Those pathetic fools do not concern us. No insignificant flicker of life
residing within those walls and wallowing on the filthy arena sands could ever
influence or corrupt our dominion."
As the seven men strode to the edge of the crest and looked down at their
growing armada each one maniacally grinned in bloodthirsty anticipation over what was
to come.
"We will let them celebrate their Festival of Death. Then just as the dead will
rise up from the underworld and claim their lives, at the breaking of dawn this
armada will be standing outside of our city and we will rise up and claim our glory
and supremacy!"

It is I, Novgorodny Vir, Spymaster of Spymasters. Look on my work, ye mighty,
and despair! REVELATION? Who? LEGENDARY BASTARDS is the top team these days,
buddies! Like a chunk of francium heaved into a wet pond, STDS blew up the rankings
to 17! The boys at BOOKIE'S BROTHEL aren't the happy-go-lucky bunch we all know and
love, after suffering a 11 drop last week. Good things come to those who fight well,
as WOLFCATS can attest, moving up by 4. Practice pays for TIMBER LION, who pummelled
UNION JACK, to pocket 21 points. Win some, lose some. Speaking of which, TIMBER
LION was winsome, after beating UNION JACK and seeing him lose 17 points. What can
be a greater victory? HANGING has taken his place as the top, as COSMOWORLD's new
Duelmaster. Word has it one team in COSMOWORLD is taking speech lessons to try to
bore their opponent to death. I'll bet it works.
And how sociable are COSMOWORLD's warriors? Come, let us see. Like a horde of
jackals fleeing from the lion, so did the "warriors" in COSMOWORLD avoid WOLFCATS.
The warriors of WOLFCATS found their efforts at combat frustrated as SUICIDAL DREAMS
apparently had more important things to do than fight. Everyone is famous for
fifteen minutes, and HAY RIDE is it right now. Most challenged warrior. Isn't PORN
IN A BARN proud! As a confidence booster, KILL'EM KREPP challenged REAPER, down 17
points. Do you also slay vicious rodents in your spare time, KILL'EM KREPP? KILL'EM
KREPP won victory over REAPER. The whole thing leaves a bitter memory. Word has it
SKIRZA SLAPSTIK suffered a romantic setback. Note how he challenged BLOOD MOON, 31
points his senior. The gods smiled upon SKIRZA SLAPSTIK, in his upset fight against
BLOOD MOON. SKIRZA SLAPSTIK gets a win, 26 points, and a free drink on me. (Next
week, OK?) Take heed COSMOWORLD, of the unprincipled action of SASQUATCH COWBOY. By
challenging ELIZABETH RABBIT, 20 points below it, SASQUATCH COWBOY besmirches the
noble art of dueling. Warriors of COSMOWORLD! Do you wish your reputations tainted
by the base challenge of SASQUATCH COWBOY? Place your bets! ONE TRICK PONY is the
long shot of the week: they challenged SILICON CARNE, up by 32. Soopreyes,
soopreyes! ONE TRICK PONY emerges from the fray 1 points the richer. Good show, ONE
TRICK PONY!
The moving sword slashes, and having slashed, moves on... Like a tattered,
worn-out, faded, out-of-fashion garment cast out to rot, MORACH RAZH of CLAN
BATTLEAXE II has been summarily sent to the Dark Arena. Q: What's a record like
2-14-1 get you? A: A free trip to the Dark Arena! This week's winner: WASTEM
WUORNOS of ANARKYSTS! Congratulations, THE LOVE BELOW. The manager of PAST TENSE
should have sent INDESTRUCTIBLE IV to the Dark Arena for having a 5-4-0 long ago.
Death in the arena! In a cheap quest for a cheap victory, BOOK-AKIE faced BLACKWIDOW
in an uneven fight. BLITZKRIEG, we expect bloody revenge! Never one to advocate
diplomacy and restraint, I was pleased to see BLIND HYPOCRISY retaliate against
MEMPHIS MAFIA II in bloodfeud! Charity is unknown in COSMOWORLD, and rightly so.
PORN IN A BARN exacted their revenge against HELTER SKELTER. Justice was served as
OBSIDIA fought VAN in bloodfeud. Well done, CLAN BATTLEAXE! Ask not a spymaster for
counsel, for he will pontificate long after you have fallen into an unconscious
stupor.
Do not think spyreporting in COSMOWORLD is the highlight of my life. My fingers
tire and I fear my incessant prattling may cause unfair judgement upon my impeccable

Our next Winter Face-to-Face will be held on Martin Luther King weekend, Friday
through Sunday, 14-16 January 2005, at the Embassy Suites in Tempe, Arizona (4400 S
Rural Rd--this is the same hotel as last year). Room rates are $139.00 per night,
1-4 occupancy, which includes breakfast. The rooms are blocked. The reservations
number is 480-897-7444; tell them you're with the "Reality Simulations Face to Face
Convention" block. Our room block will be released in mid-December, so please make
sure you reserve your room before then!
Room rates include a full cooked-to-order breakfast and a complimentary two-hour
manager's reception. There is a free shuttle to the airport, as well as free parking.
The hotel is located down the freeway in Tempe. All rooms have high speed internet
(for an extra charge). There is a fitness center, jacuzzi, and pool, and of course a
bar and Mexican restaurant inside the hotel. And there's Denny's right across the
street. Look for transportation info in the tournament information sheet.
The tournament information sheet/strategy sheet should be out sometime in late
November/early December.
