Notes from the arena champ.
Greetings, Cliffhome! Well, I got my invite and if it wasn't for Crapola Crayon I
would probably be undefeated. I was a slasher, running 15-10-6-21-17-10-5. I
thought my favorite weapon was either the hatchet or longsword, but the gods say its
the shortsword. Excuse me, let me puke. I favor Mod/VL and like the counterattack
and riposte skills. I leave rated 160 initiative, 145 attack, 140 riposte, 125
decisiveness, and 85 parry with 97 learned skills. I am -1 init, +4 rip, +1 attack.
Not enough favorites or bonuses to warranty my continued play at the Isle of the Eye.

Busy, busy, busy, lots of things happening in CLIFFHOME this turn, and let's
start with a look at some of the teams. And let's see, DARK TYPHLOSION fought
KORRIBIE and gained 22 points and contributed to FIRE DECK's 3-2-0. RUNABOUT has
lost to CHARIZARD, falling 11 points, while helping make JINDA-BAN a 0-5-0 turn.
This turn CRAPOLA CRAYON challenged STEVEN SCIMITAR in what was CLIFFHOME's Title
bout. And all eyes were on STEVEN SCIMITAR this turn as he ascended to the throne of
Duelmaster. CLIFFHOME has a new victor! Tell me, is nothing sacred? I have heard
from unimpeachable sources that The Choking Ogre uses trolls in their stew. Talk
about gristle!
I tell you, a green quarterstaff lasts longer than a seasoned sapling. A basher
friend of mine assures me this is true. Well, sports fans, take notice that RUNABOUT
from JINDA-BAN was CLIFFHOME's most challenged warrior this turn.
A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man only once. Wise men know this to

Hammer 500-Hammer Run for the Roll Ups
Hosted by Hammer
Niytyole Island DM 33 has dwindled to the point where as of T-482 [duedate
November 3, 2004] there were only 2 active stables listed with 3 inactive stables in
a once thriving and lively regular arena.
During the past 40+ cycles Hammer has been hosting the Hammer Run for the Roll
Ups in DM 33.
Thus far only the Ripper and Slasher categories have produced winners to claim
the 5 New Team Roll Ups Prize for being the first declared Style Master of their
respective categories to graduate.
Every contending stable has gone inactive for one reason or another, including
CASINO HAMMERZ, over the past several months.
Now DM 33 faces the harsh reality that if RSI chooses to close any arenas due to
little or no interest, Niytyole Island could very well head the list of endangered
regular arenas!
In an effort to preserve his beloved island, Hammer is announcing the
continuation of the Hammer Run for the Roll Ups; combined with the Hammer 500 which
will conclude both contests on T-500 [duedate July 13, 2005] should DM 33 continue to
remain open in the coming months.
