                                      SPY REPORT

If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
CLIFFHOME brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Later days, JINDA-BAN, since BOY
O'S took top team from you this turn, you guys are old news. Of course, we're all
terribly impressed to see RIQUETTIE win a fight and gain 12 points, terribly. Tsk,
tsk, RIQUETTIE beat SCROD BOY and SCROD BOY lost 6 points. You're breakin' my heart.
Going for broke or broken, our Duelmaster DASHER challenged this turn. And if
variety is the spice of life, CLIFFHOME may be getting bland, as ENTEI stays top dog
in the city. I'm not in a very good mood today, but why am I telling you this? You
want to know what's new, don't you, CLIFFHOME?
Well, let's take a look at some more misdeeds of you miserable sword-boys.
DASHER was challenged more times this turn than the Duelmaster. Now was the DM
insulted or feared? Heh, heh.
Ah, now we come to my favorite part, where we see all the guys who are dead and
gone, and get to see if their team cared. Titanium shields and bamboo daggers, guess
what brave team is developing these kinds of weapons?
What does the CLIFFHOME arena have in common with the inns? It's just as
comfortable to sleep in either place. Ha ha ha ha! Phlllt! Just had to do that
before I leave the fine city of CLIFFHOME. I feel much better now. Paste this one
in your scrapbooks, you'll need the kindling come this winter-- Snide Clemens

The team had prepared long, chatty personals for you, and I had the best intentions
for transcribing them, but then I sat down at the desk...and there was a book...a
very GOOD book. And suddenly it was too late to transcribe long chatty personals, so
you'll just have to get by with something shorter. Sorry, but not terribly sorry.
It was a VERY good book. -- Jorja, Jinda-Ban
P.S. Well, it still IS good, and I haven't finished yet, but I promised to
transcribe something before going on to the next chapter.

Jade -- Right, I can see that. I mean, they tell me that jade is a "tough" stone, so
I can see how you got the name. -- Connie Pakkit

Leonardo -- Dammit, do you know how hard it is to replace rubber tires around here?
-- Bent Fender
P.S. To say nothing of the scratches in my paint.

Amber -- Hmm, I can see that you mean to follow the tradition established by your
teammates and defeat members of my team at every opportunity. Ouch. -- Carter Pillar
P.S. I had a much more polished and suave presentation in mind, but Jorja said it
would "take too long to type."

(reeling back in surprise) I defeated the Kung-Fu Master! -- Dasher

Defeating the Fratsfa Slave, however, is hardly worthy of comment. -- Riquettie

Korrital sun Soard of Illis, Highly Dangerous -- Pooh! Like I should be scared? --
Connie Pakkit

Dasher -- Lunch then, my pretty one. I shall arrive with a carriage to fetch you to
it. -- M. Carlston Chardinee

I have not been receiving my physical turns in a reliable manner lately. If there
are diplos with the turns that go missing, they're gone for good. So if you send me
a diplo and do not see an acknowledgement of receipt in the personals, know that I
have not gotten it (yet). If you have email, contact me at Livia AT reality DOT com.
If you don't have email, keep trying with the diplos. We are working on this
problem. -- the Scribe/Jorja/Leeta
P.S. If you email me, put "Re DM" on the subject line.
