                                 DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
                             Notes from the arena champ.

Hey may call himself "scrod boy," but I know a fish when I see one. And how to
fillet him, too! Fillet, char-broiled, and then thrown out, because scrod is a
disgusting, greasy fish and I want nothing to do with it.

                                       Dasher

P.S. SHORTSWORD? Tell me this is a joke!

                                      SPY REPORT

Greetings, Warriors of CLIFFHOME. Allow this humble servant Novgorodny Vir to
give you a respite from the fights in the form of this Spyreport. Practice pays for
VANILLA, who pummelled BENT FENDER, to pocket 18 points. A certain someone should
cut down on the drinking and practice more, after losing 11 points to POULAN.
(Discrete enough, CONNIE PAKKIT?) DASHER successfully staved off a grab for the roses
by SCROD BOY of INQUISITION CLONES. Does CLIFFHOME have no one talented enough to
dethrone her? So who was the warrior seen charging into immovable walls and
challenging dead trees? Someone's got a basic problem...
And how sociable are CLIFFHOME's warriors? Come, let us see. Everyone is
famous for fifteen minutes, and BENT FENDER is it right now. Most challenged
warrior. Isn't JINDA-BAN proud!
Is there life after death? Pragmatics (and warriors) know there is death after
life! The audience gave a nice round of rasberries to CPT. CRUNCH of U.A.K., for
expiring in such an ungraceful fashion. 13-20-2, indeed! Questions are being raised
about the disposing of severed body parts in the arena. A certain tavern in
CLIFFHOME would I avoid!
All good things must come to an end. As if buffeted by forces of nature beyond
my control, I must take my leave of this place. CLIFFHOME, I leave you now. The
Duelmaster has agreed to foot my bill at The Choking Ogre. 'Til next time--
Novgorodny Vir

I mostly don't mind an encounter with the Veteran Mercenary, because he's handsome
elf and very dashing. And after I defeat him, he comes to heel so nicely! I believe
I'll have him take me to dinner. -- Riquettie

Alonzo -- That was incredibly tedious, but as you see, my engineering is better than
yours. Or maybe my last tune-up was more recent. Or something. Anyway, nice try,
doesn't fly. -- Connie Pakkit

Matteo -- You're just like all the rest, you don't CARE if I'm trying to get a good
coat of paint on, you just leap out there and start dealing dings, chips, scuffs, and
general smears. -- Bent Fender

What kind of cult involves diving into holes in the ground, okay, in the cliffs,
okay, they're caves, big deal. Diving into assorted CAVES, then, dragging pigeons,
rats, assorted goats, the occasional wino, etc, and coming back out hours later
without 'em, looking smug? I don't like this guy, and I don't care who knows it. So
there. -- Carter Pillar

15 managers have announced for the Stormcrowe Slaughterhouse!!!!!! There is still
time to join and make a name for yourself in one of Alastari's fiercest contests! I

Slaughterhouse 2, but in reality, this will be the third installment of the
Slaughterhouse!
