Notes from the arena champ.
Hopefully this makes it in the newsletter.--
Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! I did get my invite even though we all thought
that I was short on PPs. I believe we located where the extra points came from.
There was a turn with no CCs and we along with two others were in the champs just
below the DM. Must be it, or I got some bonus points for beating Bent in the Title
fight but not getting to park my butt on the throne due to recognition points.
Down to the usual. Zig and Bertha are in position to take over the throne when
I leave. Probably hinges on who gets the matchup with Bent as to which it is,
although Zig could get a stand-in and still have the recognition. Whomever takes
over I wish them luck. The FE advantages will start to catch up eventually.
Now for my stuff. 9-9-12-17-17-5-15 Ad Ex Init and Parry, EX Rip, Att and Def.
LO/MOD Epee Lunge and learn Def. Not too bad in my opinion but I will probably be
like the rest of Otis' graduates and just take my piece of land and hang out. Ran
pretty close to my favs.

Well, what are you looking at, CLIFFHOME? Ain't you never seen Snide Clemens
before? Ah, shaddup and listen to my news. Of course, we're all terribly impressed
to see ZAG win a fight and gain 22 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, ZAG beat JITNEY
JOHNNY and JITNEY JOHNNY lost 17 points. You're breakin' my heart. And if variety
is the spice of life, CLIFFHOME may be getting bland, as UTANO stays top dog in the
city. The Choking Ogre, humph! I've tasted better ale at mortuaries. Where do they
get this stuff? From CLIFFHOME's trash dumps?
He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day, the coward.
Some people like volunteer work in the hospitals. I volunteer for CLIFFHOME's
morgue. More variety. We're all going to die in the end, so why worry if the fate
catches up with you sooner that later?
I was about to buy a new quill pen the other day, but some fighter took it for
an epee. Forgive me for writing with a dagger. Phlllt! Just had to do that before
I leave the fine city of CLIFFHOME. I feel much better now. I see the crowds are
