                             Notes from the arena champ.

I don't know where this "Elite Assassin" came from... unless he was maybe sent
by King Feyn, he of the cheesy little mustache, but I have no fondness for him. If
the arenamaster hadn't stepped in, I would have had no mercy for him, either. Darned
elves.

                                      SPY REPORT

If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
XOCHITHLAN brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Gee, I'm impressed, a 4-1-0 is
nice, but don't get cocky, DINO SORES!, the Fates teach humility, and the Fates are
proud. Of course, we're all terribly impressed to see CRATOR'S CAUSE win a fight and
gain 18 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, CRATOR'S CAUSE beat UDARN VOYL and UDARN VOYL
lost 15 points. You're breakin' my heart. And if variety is the spice of life,
XOCHITHLAN may be getting bland, as TIMOR UNRED stays top dog in the city. The
Dripping Blade, humph! I've tasted better ale at mortuaries. Where do they get this
stuff? From XOCHITHLAN's trash dumps?
My mother always told me, 'If you don't have anything nice to say, start
talking.' I loved that woman. THE MIDDLE WAY, I suppose you'll be glad to know you
were this turn's most avoided team. Care to know who is the most afraid of you? And
it looks like PROPHETIC OMENS avoided them the most this turn. What a pack of would
be losers, if you ask me. Hmph. Ooh, I'm frightfully impressed, UDARN VOYL was this
turn's most challenged warrior. Watch that ego swell, sports fans.
Death and Taxes. The less death I see, the more it taxes my patience. Let's
see if anyone's dead or dying. Titanium shields and bamboo daggers, guess what brave
team is developing these kinds of weapons?
I was about to buy a new quill pen the other day, but some fighter took it for
an epee. Forgive me for writing with a dagger. Phlllt! Just had to do that before
I leave the fine city of XOCHITHLAN. I feel much better now. Glad to see the back
of this place-- Snide Clemens

Udarn Voyl -- I though I was through with you. You're going to force me to bring
your world crashing down around you, aren't you? -- World Brink

Quitta Rosala -- You just keep coming up smelling like roses. But don't worry. I
know how to wash that stench off. -- Ripple Causer

Terror-Dactyl -- Too tired, too quick! Happens like that when swinging at something
with no substance. -- Misty Form

Tri-Sore-A-Tops -- I really feel kind of bad about that. I actually like you. We
both do our own spins. -- Swirls and Arcs

Tank-Losaurus -- I didn't want you. I have enough holes in my cause as it is. --
Crator's Cause

Bettina Chim -- When you're an Amazon clone, ther's only so much flexibility. --
Swirls and Arcs

World Brink -- Well, you know how those reporters are. Nothing is worth talking
about if it isn't dire. -- Quita Rosala

Crator's Cause -- Fortunately, I can still sire children if I should have a sudden
fit of insanity. -- Udarn Voyl

Ripple Causer -- Whether the glass is half full or half empty depends on whether or
not you're standing on your head. I thought everyone knew that! -- Fallon Grimm

Ripple Causer -- I can take a hint. No oil for the troubled waters. Wine instead.
Which makes sense to ME. Wine is much more soothing than oil. -- Quita Rosala

Pat Riside -- I don't CARE if you won the fight, I am STILL not your father. Gods,
who'd want to be? You're a vicious kid. -- Fallon Grimm
