                                      SPY REPORT

Oh, hi. Its just little 'ol Debby Tonte. Thought I'd check out XOCHITHLAN to
see what's new. MVP award for ELAYDREN D'VOWN? STEEL WOLVES 2's proud of her after
beating RIRORNI WOMAN and getting 20 points. Talk about yer major upsets! HORVANTH
IRNDE's match with DIZZY MISS LIZZIE cost him a loss of 10 points! What a putz!
MASSEY fights so hard to be Duelmaster, then quits fighting and loses the title. No
one said he was a genius... And I was just getting used to the ex-Duelmaster's habit
of...(!) Oh well, welcome BETTINA CHIM. Aren't THE MIDDLE WAY proud. (Oh, my.) Who
was the wiseguy that said XOCHITHLAN's Duelmaster was paying for drinks at The
Welcome Wench? Don't look at me!
I gotta admit I haven't been in "deep con caves" with any spies. Really, I just
wing this stuff. Can THE MIDDLE WAY's SALOME TORENE be more popular than me? She
was challenged the most, but is that really the same?
What does a fighter fight for? I mean, the crowds don't give a hoot if someone
gets killed. Not after four more fights. Pinch me, I must be dreaming!!! PORK RIND
returns from the Dark Arena, maybe a "little upset" at his FEVER PITCH teammates...
Hey you guys, don't you think your families would like to hear from you? Write! (Or
have someone write for you.)
Remember, blood on a purple robe may stain. Soak it in cold water, and hand
wash. I know how much you like reading this stuff, but I really should stop.
Remember you guys, ease up sometimes! Chill out! Later, Debby Tonte

All -- By all the gods pure and holy, turns like that are why I play. Best. Turn.
Ever. I might have a dud with the replacement for Xho (don't tell her I said that,
though). Regardless, Xochitlan, meet Elaydren D'Vown, newest Steel Wolf. To the
Mun: I sent you a separate diplo, but I can't say it enough... Thanks! And to the
ever-patient Jorja: Thanks for explaining the skill-burning process. I'm not that
competitive, personally (unless it's against my arch-nemesis the Roughriders), so
I'll probably just burn the skills and retire my graduates, if I ever get there.
Primus seems like a long way off. (Speaking of which, congratulations to Massey, to
the Kiwi Connectors.) -- Lobo, mgr. Steel Wolves 2

Mahovlich -- Yeah, it was a dirty, back-handed, filthy downchallenge. I love it. --
Morgana Black

Habbiboulin -- You really owe the Arenamaster one there; if not for him, they'd be
measuring two coffins for your stable this week. -- Sylah Ventress

Wovern Yansy -- Hey, you again! -- Desslock Cain
P.S. Thanks for the lesson. Finally, Expert in something!

Svoboda, wherever you may be -- Eww. You got brain all over my weapon. -- Basti
"Bash" Artadi
P.S. First things first, no, I was not aiming for your head. My attack location was
your left arm, and since no Steel Wolf has ever crossed your path before, it was pure
luck that you so happened to be a leftie. I grant you, the last few were head shots,
but I don't know why I went there. Anyway, maybe Elaydren will be matched up with
the replacement Roughrider? And I'm not going anywhere (BLOODFEUD! My first ever!)

Bettina Chim -- I figured you were a TP, so with the challenge, I already slowed down
(drastically, even) and fought buck-naked. You're just good at what you do, and out
of my league. Maybe later? -- Desslock Cain

All -- Thanks for the help, guys, and all the info you've been dishing out. I'll put
all the advice to good use and pass it along. Drinks on me tonight! -- Hobo,
extremely grateful

Lobo -- I can't speak with certainty for anyone else, but raising SP on that
gladiator would probably not have done much good. At the least, not much predictable
good. It *seems* to be generally accepted that no one cares much about SP as
compared to the other stats. There are some skills in SP, but as a general rule, at
least THINK first about WL, then WT, then DF. Then... ST enough not to get the curse
of "does little damage," CN usually way down the priority list but it DOES help with
endurance and hit points. SP...? Remember that the skill patterns and priorities of
role playing games do not apply here. -- Jorja

Our congratulations to Massey. -- Jorja and the Middle Way

Hobson -- That wasn't luck, that was determination, maybe even pig-headed stubborn
determination. -- Bettina Chim

Desslock Cain -- I hated that fight, but I will admit that you did well. -- Wovern
Yansy

Selaane -- I don't see why that win was considered "lucky." Why shouldn't I have
won? I had the experience advantage, the style advantage, decent armor, I'm a guy
instead of a golem, what more could anyone ask? -- Ulrik Venn

Hokowhitu -- Well, I'd HOPED for more than one skill. -- Horvanth Irnde

Hotham -- Ugh, you. -- Salome Torene
