Eyes, Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Former top team BOOK OF THOMAS was
unseated this week as BASH BROS BABY moved up from 2nd ranking to take the top spot
with a 3-1-0 record for the round. MANILA caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial
commission as he skillfully bested STRATOSPHERE and was awarded 27 points in
recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, MANILA put down STRATOSPHERE,
causing him to lose 22 points of recognition in the process. Who here was not
present for the title fight this week as LOUD TOYS boldly challenged BOTTLE ROCKET in
order to strive for the Duelmasters honors? The city has turned out in honor of LOUD
TOYS, for with his arena victory he may now lay claim to the highest position in the
city! Informants "close" to the city champion have told me that he never fights
without pantyhose on beneath his armor. Watch out!
I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently
transpired. Indeed there is much I would report. My inside sources tell me that the
team to beat in XOCHITHLAN these days is BOOK OF THOMAS. At least, most blades in
town are looking to avoid them. Methinks more than a few here could name the guild
it was that spent the better part of last week avoiding BOOK OF THOMAS. Indeed it
was BASH BROS BABY. Loose talk at the arena has reached my ears and it but confirms
the knowledge that many fighters are after LOUD TOYS. Watch your back!
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? Fate is a fickle mistress. She showers the miserable with fortune
but sets enemies against the victorious. Remember this!
