                                      SPY REPORT

If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
KATI-TEI brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Of course, we're all terribly
impressed to see S&M&MS win a fight and gain 20 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, MAD ONE
beat HOLY SCHLITZ and HOLY SCHLITZ lost 12 points. You're breakin' my heart. And if
variety is the spice of life, KATI-TEI may be getting bland, as PORTERHOUSE ARREST
stays top dog in the city. Kickbacks and bribes, kickbacks and bribes, how else do
you think some of these guys win their fights? Skill? Ha!
He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day, the coward. OLD
SCHOOL, I suppose you'll be glad to know you were this turn's most avoided team.
Care to know who is the most afraid of you? And who led the way in this mass act of
cowardice? Let's see, well, whatcha know? It was BLADE BROTHERS 18. Ha ha ha ha!
SATURN was challenged more times this turn than the Duelmaster. Now was the DM
insulted or feared? Heh, heh. I guess I can give a little credit to GREW SOME GRUE
of OLD SCHOOL for challenging up by 21 to JEHU. GREW SOME GRUE won to get 76 points
of recognition. And we have THE VEAL DEAL in a challenge, going down 10 points for
the fight. Guess what? I thought THE VEAL DEAL showed great skill and promise when
he bested SATURN. All right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
Some people like volunteer work in the hospitals. I volunteer for KATI-TEI's
morgue. More variety. I could say I saw this coming, but so could anyone else.
Anyway, this turn it came. GREAT BARRIER BEEF's 7-5-0 has earned him the Dark Arena.
Gee, LOOD FOOD, ain't it past due for sending EGGS OVERLY EASY Dark Arena? What took
ol' '5-9-0' so long? Hope? Ha ha aha ha! Titanium shields and bamboo daggers,
guess what brave team is developing these kinds of weapons?
What does the KATI-TEI arena have in common with the inns? It's just as
comfortable to sleep in either place. Ha ha ha ha! Phlllt! Just had to do that
before I leave the fine city of KATI-TEI. I feel much better now. Glad to see the
back of this place-- Snide Clemens

Holy Schlitz -- (heavy sigh) You fought rings around me. Disconcerting, that. I
thought I was a ring-master myself, but.... Ah, well. -- Saturn

Porterhouse Arrest -- I find it hard to concentrate on our fight, because I keep
thinking how good you'd be with onions. Do you have an opinion on onions? -- Jehu

The Veal Deal -- Not much of a deal--only one skill, and I lost! -- Flutterlee

Do you suppose the "Fratsfan Noble" business, fighting in the arena at a cut rate, is
because he's short and the OTHER Fratsfans, the tall ones, have made fun of his,
ah... being vertically challenged, as they say? -- Parnian
P.S. He certainly seemed annoyed with me. Can I help it if I'm half Shewish?

Dark Max -- Euwh, I don't like this at all! My sister told me I wouldn't (by way of
a psychic), but I didn't believe her. I mean, would YOU believe your sister? If you
have one. Or maybe for a guy, it should be: would you believe your brother?
Whatever. -- Lurline Grace

11 November 2004
All you alliance-type people, I'm trying (again!) to get my alliance listing correct
and up to date. Either send me a diplo (address it to The Saint) or send your
updates to me directly at Sue at solberg-mathews.com. As you may guess, replace the
at with @ and you're good to go (I do hate spammy mail and this will end up on the
web).

I have information on the following alliances: ADIO, Allied Axis, Armada,
Brotherhood of Justice, Brotherhood of the Blade, Cadre, CDC, Chaos, Inc., Circle of
Order, Company of Brothers, Consortium, Council of Lords, Couple Good Guys, Crimson
Vengeance, DOA, DOOMcorps, Enigmafia, Eurosquad, Fascist Federation, FONZ,
Frothingslosh Syndicate, GAPPDA, Homeland Alliance, IT Alliance, Jingoists, kLk,
Knights of the Covenant, LBA, League Arcane, Legion6, Living Essences, Lords and
Ladies of Darkness, Manic Union, Midnight Foundation, Minions of Diana, Monarchs of
Montezuma, NCA, NIMROD, R.A.G.E., Seventh Sons, The Firm, The French Connection,
Vendett@ United, and the Vendetta Cartel.

If you are a member of one of these alliances, let me know. If you are a member of
some other alliance that isn't listed, let me know. If you were at any point in your
past a part of one of these alliance but are now independent, also let me know.
Going inactive doesn't mean you get removed from this list; people are assumed to
still be in the same alliance when they return. Even having everyone in an alliance
go inactive doesn't change anything. If an alliance is officially disbanding, that's
another thing you have to let me know....

The Saint, keeper of lists

P.S. If you already responded to my online plea (and I replied), you can ignore
this.

Hammer 500-Hammer Run for the Roll Ups
                                  Hosted by Hammer

Niytyole Island DM 33 has dwindled to the point where as of T-482 [duedate
November 3, 2004] there were only 2 active stables listed with 3 inactive stables in
a once thriving and lively regular arena.
During the past 40+ cycles Hammer has been hosting the Hammer Run for the Roll
Ups in DM 33.
Thus far only the Ripper and Slasher categories have produced winners to claim
the 5 New Team Roll Ups Prize for being the first declared Style Master of their
respective categories to graduate.
Every contending stable has gone inactive for one reason or another, including
CASINO HAMMERZ, over the past several months.
Now DM 33 faces the harsh reality that if RSI chooses to close any arenas due to
little or no interest, Niytyole Island could very well head the list of endangered
regular arenas!
In an effort to preserve his beloved island, Hammer is announcing the
continuation of the Hammer Run for the Roll Ups; combined with the Hammer 500 which
will conclude both contests on T-500 [duedate July 13, 2005] should DM 33 continue to
remain open in the coming months.
     Attention Hammer Runners!
The Hammer Run is for 0 FE Basic Arena Warriors ONLY. Participants MUST Be
Declared in the P-ads On or Before their First DM 33 Basic Arena Fight to Qualify as
a Hammer Runner! Winners of Each Category will receive 5 New Team Roll Up Gift
Certificates mailed from RSI courtesy of Hammer! [On the condition that they
Graduate on or before T-500; see amended rules below!]
The following Style Master categories remain open with a listing of how many
declared contestants are still entered and their W/L recognition record at the time
of their disappearance from the Hammer Run competition:

SHOULD RSI CHOOSE TO CLOSE DM 33 PRIOR TO T-500 ONLY THE HIGHEST ACTIVE DECLARED
STYLE MASTER CONTESTANTS WILL BE AWARDED TWO (2) GIFT CERTS AND ALL OTHER PRIZE
CATEGORIES WILL BE DECLARED NULL AND VOID BY HAMMER!!!!!!!!!
The purpose of this contest is to restore DM 33 to a lively and entertaining
arena!
Hammer is willing to foot the Prize bill in a last ditch effort to save Niytyole
Island from deletion if RSI and the Gladiatorial Commission decide that more arenas
need to be closed due to lack of participation and interest.
Should this effort fail to spare DM 33 from deletion, then Hammer is prepared to
transfer CASINO HAMMERZ to another arena if Niytyole Island is closed by RSI and the
Gladiatorial Commission.
