Notes from the arena champ.
Well, it's a grand day in Kati-Tei! I can hear the tower bells ringing, the
birds chirping, and the fans cheering! Those smelly Dawg Poopers are finally off the
throne. And now we can all prepare for the onslought of the coming Storm! It took
longer than I expected, but the climb to the top was worth every step. My brother at
the Isle, Tyefoon Turmoil was right! There's nothing quiet like it.
But looking around, it seems the only faces I see are the friendly and familiar
ones from my stable. So who to fight, who to fight, my throne for someone to fight.
Unless the warriors of the Plague come back to challenge me, or a new worthy
challenger decides to return to the arena unexpected, it looks like I'm going to
fight a stand in to keep my crown. Not exactly the epic battle I was looking for to
keep the title, but I guess I'll take what I can get. Or maybe I'll Bloodfeud that
little runt of a pup, Firehydrant Defiler, for ending the life of one of our better
prospects prematurely. But where's the glory in that! So whatever the fates decide
to happen will happen.

SPY REPORT
You elder fighters surely remember me. The younger ones may call me Olaf
Modeen. I return to KATI-TEI once again! Some people say I ramble too much, I don't
say anything relevant. I repeat myself. I ramble. Well WANDERERS moved up 0, to
3rd. Another fighter (THE WAIT 25-16-0) challenged another Duelmaster (EL NINO
12-8-0). Life goes on. I'm sure KATI-TEI is excited about THE WAIT, the new
Duelmaster from THE PLAGUE. (remember?) But when you've seen as many as I have...
Wouldn't it be nice to have live subjects to practice on? I hear some team is
looking into the uses of convicted prisoners.
No matter the time or place, men will always duel. The most avoided team was
THE STORM FRONT. The bums at THE PLAGUE couldn't face the challenges from THE STORM
FRONT! No excuse for that! How well I know the feeling of being the most challenged
warrior, KOHOUTEK! Don't make idle boasts, they may come back to haunt you. Keep
challenging up 26 points, DEVIL DOG, and I won't have to write about you much longer.
BALIN CHANE always accepts those kind of challenges... DEVIL DOG found one way to
advance: challenging BALIN CHANE and losing, but getting 5 points. No brain, no
pain. OLD YELLER of DA DOG POWNDAZ knows how to pick 'em. He challenged DODO of
BIRDS who is up by 22. Now was this a wise move? OLD YELLER perhaps got his just
desserts, seeing as he beat DODO and ended up with 63 recognition points.
Warriors of KATI-TEI unite. You have only your games to lose! How long have I
been here? I got people to see, places to go...
Well, I'm pretty much through. You guys need to get back practicing. KATI-TEI
is a nice place to live, but I don't like to live in nice places. I don't want to
