SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly RODEKI games. ARERIS caught the eye of many in the
gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested MORDANT DESERTER and was awarded 13
points in recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, SUSHEE SU put down
RONALD MCDONALD, causing him to lose 6 points of recognition in the process. Most
watched of the fights this week, the spotlight was on RUBBER BUMPER as it bore arms
against the challenge of reigning Duelmaster COOKIE SNORT. Although RUBBER BUMPER
made a valiant effort, it did not suffice to topple the reign of victorious COOKIE
SNORT. Would you believe that over half of the old women in RODEKI seem to feel that
they could fight better than you gladiators?
I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently
transpired. Indeed there is much I would report. RODEKI, city of gladiators!
Mighty among the names of thy guilds is COLOR ME SUAVE, a guild shunned and avoided
by many in the weekly duels. Apparently the stalwarts of CLOWNING AROUND are
catching the bulk of jests down at the challenging board for their large share of the
avoids. Loose talk at the arena has reached my ears and it but confirms the
knowledge that many fighters are after JOHN ROSE. Watch your back! I can not but
mention with disdain the name of SNAPPY GEORGE who this week posted a challenge to a
warrior a full 8 points below in the rankings. I thought SNAPPY GEORGE showed great
skill and promise when he overcame EL RIPPOFF. All right, so I slept through it!
Big deal!
Vendettas. Bloodied blades and broken spears. Indeed the city has seen more
than its fair share of red in recent times. Dark alleys may hide both secrets and
assassins. In the arena there is only the brightness of steel. Keep vigil always!
The girls are as pretty in RODEKI as ever I remembered them....and the fighters
as ugly! Don't let your reputation slip! Sadly warriors, now longer can I keep thy
company nor savor the ale of thy fine city. Depart I must and soon! Till next we

ANNOUNCING THE RETURN OF STORMCROWE SLAUGHTERHOUSE
The last Stormcrowe Slaughterhouse was one of the closest and most exciting
contests ever held in Alastari. Such an epic demands a sequel. Therefore, Master
Darque and Jack Wolfspider are pleased to announce the return of the Stormcrowe
Slaughterhouse.
Where? Stormcrowe DM 45 (slow). When? The Slaughterhouse returns on Turn 207,
due August 19. How can you get into the action? Bring a team (one per entrant
please) to arena 45 and announce your intention to join the contest in the Personals.
Rules: This time around the rules are very simple. Each warrior win against a
higher rated opponent (one or more points higher in the ratings) brings you 10
points, against even rated opponent 7 points, lower rated 5 points. Wins against
NPCs or by a warrior who downchallenges are worth 0 points. Points are doubled for
kills. All warriors in the arena whether participating in the Slaughterhouse or not
are fair game. Points are totaled weekly, and the contestant whose team has racked
up the most points at the end of 10 turns is declared Slaughterhouse Champion.
Prizes: To be announced; we're still talking with RSI about it. Figure it will
be something pretty good. But hey, who needs prizes when the honor of being
Slaughterhouse Champion awaits!
