                                      SPY REPORT

Well, what are you looking at, RODEKI? Ain't you never seen Snide Clemens
before? Ah, shaddup and listen to my news. Later days, COLOR ME SUAVE, since
DELVERS took top team from you this turn, you guys are old news. Of course, we're
all terribly impressed to see THE MOLE win a fight and gain 20 points, terribly. And
it's out with the old, in with the new, as GEORGE STARK takes the Title and last
week's bar tab from the old Duelmaster. Heh, heh. Kickbacks and bribes, kickbacks
and bribes, how else do you think some of these guys win their fights? Skill? Ha!
He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day, the coward. KING'S
KREW, I suppose you'll be glad to know you were this turn's most avoided team. Care
to know who is the most afraid of you? And who led the way in this mass act of
cowardice? Let's see, well, whatcha know? It was COLOR ME SUAVE. Ha ha ha ha!
FUZZY BUZZCUT was challenged more times this turn than the Duelmaster. Now was the
DM insulted or feared? Heh, heh. And we have THIRD BASE SPOCK in a challenge, going
down 8 points for the fight. Guess what? I thought THIRD BASE SPOCK showed great
skill and promise when he was defeated by MASUMII. All right, so I slept through it!
Big deal!
Death and Taxes. The less death I see, the more it taxes my patience. Let's
see if anyone's dead or dying. Honor is like a chainmail shirt, it only shines
through use. Certain nameless cowards will doubtless rebuke me on this one.
There's got to be a better place in RODEKI to get a drink than The Welcome
Wench! Any suggestions? Phlllt! Just had to do that before I leave the fine city
of RODEKI. I feel much better now. I see the crowds are getting restless, I must
leave now-- Snide Clemens

Sushee Su -- By my count, I've won 4, you've won 2. I've learned 6 skills, you've
learned 11. I'll see you soon, but this turn Fuzzy and I hope to have our final
fling here in Rodeki before he leaves for the Isle of the Eye. -- Bozo
P.S. Guilty on the Mime deal, but the Black Big Top is not a place I ever intend to
go. Never say never, but unless things change, I'll stick with my own act. Come on,
though, the mime deal was appropriate, especially for me, who wishes he could fight
as well as gladiators. You'd let that little episode stand in the way of a potential
friendship?!? If so, then maybe it is best we don't become friends....

The Mole -- Don't you understand!?! I don't want to fly high! Not as a gladiator.
I love being a simple little clown working for the top fast food joint in the world.
Now, my dreams have been taken away and I'm to be a full time gladiator! -- R.
McDonald

Third Base Spock -- You're my idol.... You made it look so easy and graceful on the
sands! Will you give me some pointers on how to use that weapon? Won't you be my
neighbor? -- Red S.

Bozo -- Old fiends, I mean, old friends, eh? That's the ninth pair of stockings
you've ruined for me. -- Sushee Su

1977 Amc Matador -- (with great satisfaction) Those cheap retreads just don't last,
do they? -- John Rose

Virtuous Vixen -- You're too tall for me, ma'am. For that matter, *I* am too tall
for me. It's some kind of illusion; I'm not really this tall. -- The Mole
P.S. Besides, you're virtuous. Vixenish I could stand, but virtue just doesn't do
it for me.
P.P.S. I like to grope around in the dark, you see. It's my mole nature coming out.

That Mordant Deserter is such a low, despicable creature. Really, they should have
let me kill him. It would have done him good. Shown him the error of his ways and
so on. -- Handsome Is

The Embezzling Scribe is totally without morals. He's worse, in fact, than the
Dangerous Criminal. But easier to defeat in the arena, which suits me fine. --
Handsome Does

What! Fuzzy Buzzcut is LEAVING us? How can he? What will we do without him? --
various Delvers

Ronald McProject -- (with horror) Are they making you eat the SALADS now? -- John
Rose

Bozo -- (grumpy look) -- Sushee Su

Red S. -- I'm half Shewish, and proud of it. Among the Shews, I'm just "above
average" in height. -- Handsome Does

22 October 2004
                         Youngblood's Three and Out Contest

I would like to take this time to announce and invite all managers to compete in what
I think will be an awesome contest. If you haven't ever TC'd at a tourney before,
here is your chance. The contest will start Wednesday, December 1, 2004, but a
chance will be given November 17 to dark arena, only, any warrior that you do not see
fit to run in the contest. So now that I have your attention, here are the rules
(like you didn't know they were coming sooner or later).

 1. Any manager participating can enter one team, only.
 2. No sandbagging whatsoever. (I will keep up with it, every turn.)
 3. No teams or warriors will be allowed to run after contest starts.
 4. All warriors will run until they lose three times, after three losses they are
     eliminated.
 5. If a warrior sits out a turn, they are accounted with a loss in the contest.
This is to keep warriors with winning records from sitting out until the end of
     the contest.
 6. If a warrior is killed during the contest, the replacement cannot enter the
     contest.
 7. If a warrior is killed, bloodfeuding is allowed, but only by a warrior that is
     active in the contest.
 8. If a warrior is run after being eliminated, the manager is disqualified from the
     contest, no questions asked.
 9. Challenges are legal, up or down.
10. Contest will keep going until 1 warrior is left without three losses, and that
warrior, of course, is accounted the winner.
11. All managers participating will be asked to purchase a rollup certificate, to be
awarded to the winners of the contest.

                                    <<<PRIZES>>>

As I have already said, and according to participation, rollups will be awarded
to the first and second place managers. So the majority and minority of the rollups
will be determined when all are accumulated.
Contest Champion--2 Faves prizes, and majority of rollup certificates
Contest Runner-up--1 Faves prize, and minority of rollup certificates
So once again I invite all managers old and new to participate in what should be
a fierce and challenging contest. <<<REMEMBER, FIRST OFFICIAL TURN OF THE CONTEST IS
DECEMBER THE FIRST, AND AS I SAID BEFORE, THE TURN BEFORE (NOVEMBER 17TH) YOU MAY
DARK ARENA CHALLENGE ONLY!!! ANY WARRIOR WITH ANY FE (FIGHT EXPERIENCE) WHEN THE
CONTEST STARTS WILL BE ELIMINATED FROM THE CONTEST.
