Notes from the arena champ.
Sorry to interrupt your reign, Su-Chi. You were getting a little cocky and
frankly, nobody in Rodeki's that good. Not even you. Especially not me. I imagine
you and your teammates will beat up on me and my teammates for the next few turns,
although I should get an invite out of this place fairly soon. I don't look forward
to fighting on the Isle, where I expect I'll get pummeled with even more regularity.
I'd love to stay up here until I get that call, though, so I'm avoiding you, Su.
Doubt it'll work and if your challenge gets through, we'll play some rock-paper-
scissors to see who'll sit here next turn.
Suave said he's also holding the thrones in Talcama and Talahya. At this rate,
someone might mistake him for a real manager. I won't make that mistake. -- Kangaroo

SPY REPORT
So why do I have this bag over my head? Because I am The Unknown Spymaster and
I'm going to give you a spy report!. Hey everybody, watch out for CUSTARD, who flew
up 16 points in the rankings after mashing LEAFCUTTER BEAL like a melon. Keep your
eye on this gal. And falling like a basher in the top ten was LEAFCUTTER BEAL, who
dropped 13 points after a disappointing (to say the least) bout with CUSTARD. The
most challenged warrior this week was KANGAROO LIFEBOAT. If this keeps up, our
Duelmaster's going to need more avoids! SU-CHI got through to the Duelmaster this
turn. No doubt she was more than anxious to kick KANGAROO LIFEBOAT's tail out of the
throne! Going for the gusto and coming up with aught but bloody knuckles was WIND
STORM's SU-CHI, who was turned away from the Duelmastership by KANGAROO LIFEBOAT. 4
out of 5 gladiators surveyed protect the body, so try and avoid aiming at that
location.
Here is other news that is of note. And hey, kiddies, those of you who didn't
avoid COLOR ME SUAVE, please raise you hand. Wow. Does RODEKI really have that many
liars? For those of you who like math, try this one: COLOR ME SUAVE + Weapons That
go Boom = WIND STORM + Avoid City. Getting lots of flowers from sympathetic fans was
HANDSOME DOES, who was successfully challenged by FOUR OF SPADES who had a mere 17
points more than HANDSOME DOES. Definition of petty: FOUR OF SPADES bested HANDSOME
DOES, a mismatch of 17 points.
Remember that an arena is not always a safe place to be, but it is one of the
most interesting, though! Knowing when to use the right tactics at the proper time
is a very important step on the road to Duelmaster.
Well, there's the manager of the RODEKI giving me the 'cut' sign (or is that
'They're going to strangle you in the alley?). Well, there goes another Spy Report.

The Olympics have arrived!
The Mordanti Olympics, having been gone for six years, have returned to the Mordanti
Alliance, sponsored by Amicitia Primoris. Teams have competed against each other for
recognition and notoriety four times in the past. It is far past time for the fifth
Mordanti Olympics to be held. The Mordanti Olympics shall be held in the Mordant
arena (DM-1) from May 1st (T544) through Oct 30 (T557). There will be a
'registration period' lasting until T543, where teams will be allowed to register by
activating in Mordant and declaring their participation in the personals. Rules will
be posted in the Mordant arena (DM-1) newsletter no later than T543, but shall be
available online before then. An announcement will be made as to where they will be
posted. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
