Notes from the arena champ.
Hail Rodeki!
Wow! My first turn on the throne and I get an invite to the Isle! I don't "think"
Doone will be sending me to the Dark Arena this turn in a futile attempt to pad
Flagg's kill record. I wouldn't be surprised if I lost my induction fight, either.
I've been riding a good wave of matchups and challenges the last few turns. I'll
have to wait and see if Flagg intends to continue my career after my arrival at
Darkholm or not. If not, it's been a blast and I'd like to thank you all for the
wonderful ride!
For those curious to how I stack up number wise, here is how the Commission has rated
me: 14(1)-10(1)-17-12(1)-16(1)-14-5. The Commission tells me that I am currently
rated an Expert in Attack and an Advanced Expert in Decisiveness. They also tell me
that I like the War Hammer and like to fight with a Moderate offensive effort and a
Very Low activity effort. Who knows? Maybe my style and rhythm is exactly what is
needed to pry those bare fisted aimed blows off their lofty perches?
I'm glad I can finally cast aside that Mace that Flagg's been making me use due to my
low deftness. Again, thanks for all of the fun and I would have never expected to
graduate with as nice a record as I have.
Zensters, if you're reading this, please come back. We know that death is an
inevitable part of our lives here on the sands, but to not at least attempt to avenge
the death of a fallen member is a shame!

Well, what are you looking at, RODEKI? Ain't you never seen Snide Clemens
before? Ah, shaddup and listen to my news. Of course, we're all terribly impressed
to see CHRISTELLINA win a fight and gain 26 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, CHRISTELLINA
beat RIMA ADLER and RIMA ADLER lost 19 points. You're breakin' my heart. VIRTUOS
VIXEN challenged SUCKFOOT for RODEKI's Title this turn, and guess what happened? And
it's out with the old, in with the new, as SUCKFOOT takes the Title and last week's
bar tab from the old Duelmaster. Heh, heh. Kickbacks and bribes, kickbacks and
bribes, how else do you think some of these guys win their fights? Skill? Ha!
Well, let's take a look at some more misdeeds of you miserable sword-boys.
COLOR ME SUAVE, I suppose you'll be glad to know you were this turn's most avoided
team. Care to know who is the most afraid of you? And who led the way in this mass
act of cowardice? Let's see, well, whatcha know? It was FLAGG'S FIVE. Ha ha ha ha!
RIMA ADLER was challenged more times this turn than the Duelmaster. Now was the DM
insulted or feared? Heh, heh. I guess I can give a little credit to MASTER
SCHEDULER of FLAGG'S FIVE for challenging up by 22 to DUCEM. MASTER SCHEDULER won to
get 41 points of recognition.
Some people like volunteer work in the hospitals. I volunteer for RODEKI's
morgue. More variety. Titanium shields and bamboo daggers, guess what brave team is
developing these kinds of weapons?
What does the RODEKI arena have in common with the inns? It's just as
comfortable to sleep in either place. Ha ha ha ha! Well, I've had enough of this
drivel, and I'm sure you have too. Off like a dirty shirt of padded leather. Paste

Life here in Rodeki has been tough. People make fun of my teeth and my girth.
I tell them it's not my fault that I was born this way. I tell them about the
Hippopotami curse that was placed on our family many years ago, but they still laugh.
They still mock. It still hurts every time.
On top of this verbal bludgeoning, I have been taking physical abuse in the
arena. Farnham is a bumbling idiot when it comes to strategy. When I make
suggestions that maybe I should exert a little more offense, his face takes on this
far off gaze. He then mumbles under his breath something about bubblegum. What the
heck is bubblegum! Such a strange character is this Farnham. Be thankful that you
did not join me in the madness that is his stable.
