Well! This time, Big Disappointment was NOT. I suppose he was hoping to take
the title, or at least to prevent me from taking the title by default, but this was
very well done. I'm thrilled.

SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly RODEKI games. Former top team COLOR ME SUAVE was
unseated this week as DUNGEON CELL moved up from 2nd ranking to take the top spot
with a 4-1-0 record for the round. URCHIN caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial
commission as he skillfully bested WISHBONNETT and was awarded 20 points in
recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, DEAD MAN WALKING put down RICE
CAKE, causing him to lose 12 points of recognition in the process. As is fitting,
the most sought after warrior on the challenge boards this week was none other than
Duelmaster DACIMOUSEL himself. This time out ALMOST PRETTY made hers bid for the
throne as she challenged DACIMOUSEL in an all out contest of skill for possession of
the title! Not for nothing has DACIMOUSEL in the past laid claim to the Duelmaster's
throne, and this week he's proven his combat skill yet again. Informants "close" to
the city champion have told me that he never fights without pantyhose on beneath his
armor. Watch out!
Many and various are the arts of battle. In RODEKI "art" is a word that has
long since passed from the language! BIG DISAPPOINTMENT must really be harboring a
grudge against the DELVERS guild! Merciless, 18 challenged down FAROMAN points this
week to duel with he. Few would not have guessed the outcome of the bout as FAROMAN
was defeated by BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Is this what passes for courage in RODEKI? I
can not but mention with disdain the name of COLDFISHFINGER who this week posted a
challenge to a warrior a full 12 points below in the rankings. I thought
COLDFISHFINGER showed great skill and promise when he beat ROCKHOG JR. All right, so
I slept through it! Big deal!
Is not Death a warrior's foremost adviser? Warriors, may this counselor stand
ready at your right hand forever! Dark alleys may hide both secrets and assassins.
In the arena there is only the brightness of steel. Keep vigil always!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
already in RODEKI. Nice atmosphere you have here! Ahh, but I can hear the spires of
