before? Ah, shaddup and listen to my news. Later days, COLOR ME SUAVE, since I
CAN'T BRUSH YOU took top team from you this turn, you guys are old news. Of course,
we're all terribly impressed to see ROCKHOG JR win a fight and gain 15 points,
terribly. Tsk, tsk, COMB beat DAMON SHOVELL and DAMON SHOVELL lost 10 points.
You're breakin' my heart. And if variety is the spice of life, RODEKI may be getting
bland, as STICKY FINGERS stays top dog in the city. Kickbacks and bribes, kickbacks
and bribes, how else do you think some of these guys win their fights? Skill? Ha!
My mother always told me, 'If you don't have anything nice to say, start
talking.' I loved that woman. Ooh, I'm frightfully impressed, GASTAIGNE was this
turn's most challenged warrior. Watch that ego swell, sports fans. BRAID was
challenged by one of COLOR ME SUAVE's warriors this turn, with JELLO KNUCKLES having
a lead of 20 points going into the fight. This is the sort of thing that makes the
price of admission to RODEKI's games worth it! JELLO KNUCKLES was bested by BRAID!!
And we have FLIMSY KNICKERS in a challenge, going down 8 points for the fight. Guess
what? I thought FLIMSY KNICKERS showed great skill and promise when she defeated
GASTAIGNE. All right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
Some people like volunteer work in the hospitals. I volunteer for RODEKI's
morgue. More variety. COLOR ME SUAVE has cause to pause today, as COLDFISHFINGER
was sent to the Dark Arena, and came back--though not in the best of moods, I'll
wager. Honor is like a chainmail shirt, it only shines through use. Certain
nameless cowards will doubtless rebuke me on this one.
There's got to be a better place in RODEKI to get a drink than The Warty Toad!
