Notes from the arena champ.
A successful title defense. Yay, me. Other Mother issued her challenge and gave
it her best shot. I had another shield get broken. I think the commission is buying
rotted wood to make these things. Come on now, I want a titanium Medium Shield! Hahaha
Anyway, I returned the favor and broke Other Mother's scimitar late in the fight. At
that point tho it didn't matter much. I think my second attack in the fight, in the
7th minute got her all flustered. She started waving her arms all over and screaming,
"He attacked me! That's not right! He is supposed to just stand there like a dummy!"
That Other Mother, such a jokester. I laughed as the Arena Master proclaimed me the
winner.
Well, on to new horizons. Like where is my Isle invite? Not sure what requirement
I'm lacking, but it'll come, I am sure. As for my challenges for turn 440, it appears
Tobir avoided me last turn so I'll give him another chance, but I'll give my first
challenge to South Pole. With the exception of Kit Kat and Urban Legend it looks like
the Challenger Champions have warriors with fairly even W/L records. Ok, enough chit
chat, time to wash down the arena dust with some Stormcrowe Ale. Good stuff. Good luck
to all this turn, except to however fights me. That should go without saying, but I
said it anyway. Haha.

SPY REPORT
Hail and well met warriors of STORMCROWE! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp
Eyes, Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. There were bitter words at KNIGHT
BREED's guildhouse after a 0-0-0 showing this week which dropped the stable into
13th. Dark Arena anyone? Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the
corner! Witness how this week MAIDEN JAPAN went 2-1-0 to move up 4 in the rankings.
SUEET caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as it skillfully bested
USKIABUR and was awarded 21 points in recognition. As is fitting, the most sought
after warrior on the challenge boards this week was none other than Duelmaster
BLIZZARD-RAT himself. Unwilling to wait upon the will of others, Duelmaster
BLIZZARD-RAT challenged SOUTH POLE last week in a match to decide the fate of the
throne. Not for nothing has BLIZZARD-RAT in the past laid claim to the Duelmaster's
throne, and this week he's proven his combat skill yet again. Informants "close" to
the city champion have told me that he never fights without pantyhose on beneath his
armor. Watch out!
I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently
transpired. Indeed there is much I would report. STORMCROWE, city of gladiators!
Mighty among the names of thy guilds is YUPPIE SHELTER, a guild shunned and avoided
by many in the weekly duels. Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it
was that spent the better part of last week avoiding YUPPIE SHELTER. Indeed it was
AVID FANS. I can not but mention with disdain the name of RODMAN who this week
posted a challenge to a warrior a full 12 points below in the rankings. I thought
RODMAN showed great skill and promise when he lost to MAR-A-LAGO. All right, so I
slept through it! Big deal!
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? Fate is a fickle mistress. She showers the miserable with fortune
but sets enemies against the victorious. Remember this!
The girls are as pretty in STORMCROWE as ever I remembered them....and the
fighters as ugly! Don't let your reputation slip! More than a sharp eye must I
keep, indeed a stout pair of legs must I keep as well! The endless paths of Alastari
