Notes from the arena champ.
Look who is back on top. ME! Zuwayza's favorite son and crafty Total Parry
Specialist (TPS). And for the tenth time, to boot! I debated whether to challenge Word
Search last turn, you know with his Isle departure, and all. I had also already
battled Word Search like 4 times previously. I won 3 of those, but Word Search had won
the last. Was it a fluke or had he improved to scum busting status? Ok, time to hit
two targets with one stone, so to speak. I challenged Word Search to 1) test my
superiority and 2) re-take the Duelmasters Crown. Admit it, no one can fault my logic.
So, Word Search gave it a good try. He poked me numerous times with his
shortspear. It didn't tickle, but we TP's are conditioned to shake off such minor
wounds. I say minor because there were only a few rivers of blood pouring out from
beneath my plate armor. Nothing to be concerned about. Nearing the end of minute one,
Word Search looked exhausted. When the Arenamaster announced, "Minute Two, Continue
Fighting"!, At that moment a look of desperate frustration appeared on Word Search's
face and he dropped his arms to his sides becoming completely helpless. Being the
honorable duelist that I am, I could not in good conscience, attack him further. I let
him peacefully fall on his face in the bloody sands. My blood, by the way.
So my challenges for T-931 will go to Financial News. I fought him way back on T-
893 so it'll be an interesting rematch. I didn't think it'd be sporting to challenge
Jerusalem since he seems to be the designated new guy in the challenger champions. I'm
avoiding Free Admission for obvious reasons, not the least of which is he has kicked
my butt 3 times recently. So, no fight for you Mr. Admission! LOL

SPY REPORT
Thankyouthankyou. It's great for me, The Unknown Spymaster to be back in
STORMCROWE. Hope you enjoy the show. Oh, who am I kidding? I already got paid!
Advancing in the rankings was RAT PAK who went from last turn's 63-69-2, to this
week's record of 67-70-2. Hey everybody, watch out for USKIABUR, who flew up 22
points in the rankings after mashing PAYNE ERYE like a melon. Keep your eye on this
guy. And falling like a basher in the top ten was PAYNE ERYE, who dropped 19 points
after a disappointing (to say the least) bout with USKIABUR. In front of all the
crowds, OTHER MOTHER took the Duelmaster's crown for hers own. I give the bum two
weeks. 4 out of 5 gladiators surveyed protect the body, so try and avoid aiming at
that location.
But enough of that bunch, let's get on to the wimps who like to avoid battle!
Did you hear that DARQUE FORCES was most avoided team this week? Well, knowing the
personal hygiene of DARQUE FORCES' warriors, I'm not surprised! And you guys like to
boo me? Well, unsling your rasberries, cause RAT PAK beats feet every time DARQUE
FORCES smiles at them. Try farming, eh? Well dang howdy, but if challenges were
votes, POPPY would be president. Although it may be a contest it doesn't want to
win.
Remember that an arena is not always a safe place to be, but it is one of the
most interesting, though! Knowing when to use the right tactics at the proper time
is a very important step on the road to Duelmaster.
Well, that wasn't too bad; Alarond told me that the people in STORMCROWE have no
sense of humor. Or maybe that they were senseless. C'mon, Leadfoot, let's make some
tracks. And remember, you can pick your friends and you can pick your--(loud boos),

One of the problems of playing in a slow arena, at least for me, is I can never
remember what I did previously or what my plan is for the team or warriors. I just
forget. The same can be said for personal ads. I'm reading thru the T-443 NLB and I'm
thinking, wow I got pretty wordy and then I saw the rant at the end. What idiot wrote
this I'm thinking, then I saw it was me. I should probably say at this point, if you
know me then you know I'm just trying to rattle some cages to spark manager
participation. If you don't know me then send coin of the realm to my Rat Pak Guild
Hall to help fund my mental health treatments and to pay my bills, in general. LOL --

And just to talk a bit more, now that the latest version of the TOD has come and gone,
I feel the need to express my disappointment on failing to revive an old favorite
warrior from this team. By yesterdays or todays standards he certainly is not a
"godling" warrior, but was pretty decent and fun. So yet once again, another year to
wait. I'm left to wonder, just how loaded is the dead challengers class, anyway? My
guy, Lightning-Rat was 14-2-2 when he died and yes, that was quite awhile ago. He
currently has 90 learned skills and a total of 136 skills while still an 84 point
warrior. He can't muster up an 8-3 TV at the minimum? I guess logically, the dead
challengers class is probably loaded with tons of highly skilled warriors who have
died over the course of two or three decades. Tough sledding, indeed. Anyway, just
chatting and I'm done now. I'm sure every manager has a similar story to tell. -- Boss
