SPY REPORT

Eyes, Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. There were bitter words at FAVORITE
SAYINGS 7's guildhouse after a 0-2-0 showing this week which dropped the stable into
10th. Dark Arena anyone? HORRACH caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial
commission as he skillfully bested EXPOSE and was awarded 24 points in recognition.
In one of the week's more notable duels, HORRACH put down EXPOSE, causing her to lose
24 points of recognition in the process. Although JUICE BOX made a valiant effort,
it did not suffice to topple the reign of victorious THE VEAL DEAL. Informants
"close" to the city champion have told me that he never fights without pantyhose on
beneath his armor. Watch out!
Many and various are the arts of battle. In STORMCROWE "art" is a word that has
long since passed from the language! STORMCROWE, city of gladiators! Mighty among
the names of thy guilds is AVID FANS, a guild shunned and avoided by many in the
weekly duels. Apparently the stalwarts of DARQUE FORCES are catching the bulk of
jests down at the challenging board for their large share of the avoids.
Is not Death a warrior's foremost adviser? Warriors, may this counselor stand
ready at your right hand forever! Fate is a fickle mistress. She showers the
miserable with fortune but sets enemies against the victorious. Remember this!
A thought before I go. Each warrior practices one style, but must not the wise
manager learn the secrets of them all? More than a sharp eye must I keep, indeed a
stout pair of legs must I keep as well! The endless paths of Alastari await me!

Wekrus looked at the pointy tipped stick in her hand and then down at the little orc.
It was skinny and had ink stained on its fingers, she was worried it was going to look
up her leather skirt, standing over 7 foot she demurely (or attempting to be) held the
lashes in her left hand. Looking worried about its health she glanced over at her
manager Oran who snarled and was using a stabbing motion. "Sowwy dis gone hurt." She
stabbed forward once with the pointy stick and skewered the orc halfway thru his chest
and out his back. Horrified she yanked it backwards, blood spattering across the
arena. That was it, it was over. She shook the spear trying to get the blood off as
the crowd perceived it as a victory dance and roared in appreciation of the spectacle!

Gekrus just finished watching his twin stab a orc and almost kill it! He was shocked
she would do it, but this new land was full of fighting and death! It was kill or be
killed or at least he was told that. He looked down at the tiny hatchet in his hand.
He barely held on to it. He looked up and saw a scraggly man that people were booing
and hissing. He was supposedly some thief or something. He steeled his nerve and
decided to get it over fast. The 7'2" behemoth lumbered forward and slashed down with
surprising speed for his bulk. The little man ducked and dodged a few times getting
him frustrated. With a roar he turned and backhanded him one time and hit his right
hip almost severing the limb from the body. Surprised at how soft these creatures
were he looked towards his sister and grinned. -- Gekrus
Tygog was the runt of the litter, actually a dwarf in his lands, standing at 5'7". He
was an awkward giant more wide than tall. He was smarter than the twins and the rest
of his group and knew they were in trouble. They were fighting scribes and thieves
with absolutely no skills at all. They had to get better soon or they would die here
in this strange world. Taking up his scimitar and dagger he awkwardly finished off
the scribe in two minutes. The thing was terrible, even worse than the training dummy
but at least he won. -- Tygog
Mosog had a full set of scaly armor and a giant pot on his head. He held a curved
blade and had a giant plate of steel in his other hand. The gong sounded and he
turned to look at it, his huge finger in his giant nostril. "Whud dat?" The twin
giants were desperately pointing at a man with a broadsword sneaking up behind him.
Spinning around the broadsword clanged against his steel plate and helmet. He didn't
even feel it. He hit himself one time by accident and felt it in his knee. "OWIE!"
Getting made he swung his curved metal sideways and hit the Mordant Deserter in the
stomach one time knocking him off his feet and sending him flying into the wall
unconscious. His helmet slipped over his eyes and he kept swinging away at invisible
foes until he heard someone tell him to stop. Victory! I think.. -- Mosag
Odbog held the little blade in his hand, barely intelligent enough to carry the thing.
He was the "bad seed" of the bunch. He didn't like anyone or anything and was an
ornery child. He looked over at his opponent. A werecat? It didn't have any armor
on and rushed forward as soon as the bell rang. He roared loudly and rushed forward
to meet it, "STABBY! STABBY! STABBY!" again and again his little sword flew like a
piston. He was hit once but didn't feel it at all! Just kept stabbing and shouting,
'STABBY!" In the end the sword went thru the werecat's face all the way out the back
of its skull. It wasn't going to get up from that one.. EVER.. He raised his bloody
sword and roared. -- Odbog
All -- I'm going to break this normally quiet arena's silence and write some personal

Space Dandy -- 16(1)-21-5-11-17-8-7 WS, T/G. MO/LO, GA, learns Defense. He was the
project warrior for the Knight Breed team, so they will be going on a short hiatus. I
plan to run him in AD at some point because I can get the physical stats up to 25. The
problem is getting lucky with a great learning curve to make it all worth it. --
Darque
Melodias -- 15-13-6-21-10-8-11 ST, N/N. Security Guard from Avid Fans killed him a
while back. I decided to run him in the October tourney because his learns were decent
and in the right places (ATT and DEC)! He put in a solid 8-3 performance to come back
to life! I probably wasn't paying attention, but he met all the criteria to graduate
on the turn of his death (20 arena fights). The moment he was resurrected, he got the
call to the Isle. He will be enjoying a nice retirement in Crysalis. -- Darque
