Well I'm back at the top again with a new strategy that obviously worked. Sure you
can be all smart and learn skills yourself, me well it's obvious that you can't teach
an old dog new tricks. What will it take, I say what will it take to train me. Well
no train, no Island, that's good for me. I like it here in Ardivent, wandering
around talking with all you youthful warriors. Now me and Becker are going to kick
back and drink to you young whipper snaps. Lori my dear, thank you for keeping my
seat warm. If you want, stop by and we can chat about our next duel. Death and

SPY REPORT
The sages err'd not in their foretelling of a god descending upon ARDIVENT, for
I, Novgorodny Vir, have returned! The boys at CRIME FAMILY are walking tall, as they
are ranked 5th on their first try! Going for the Duelmaster soon? TUFT-TASTIC! had
cause to celebrate, after ANNETTE TEVERLY got 23 points by beating CRYPT. A certain
someone should cut down on the drinking and practice more, after losing 19 points to
SPARROW-BLASTER. (Discrete enough, THORN?) Those who hoped for a new Duelmaster were
disappointed by KUNG-FU MASTER, of ARDIVENT, who despite a 0-0-0 couldn't overcome
ARDIVENT's Number 1. So who was the warrior seen charging into immovable walls and
challenging dead trees? Someone's got a basic problem...
And how sociable are ARDIVENT's warriors? Come, let us see. Like the noble
eagle soaring amongst the mountaintops, so stand the warriors of CYNICAL DELUSIONS,
alone and unchallenged. As a woman of good breeding scorns the "warriors" of
TUFT-TASTIC!, so did that sorry team shy from CYNICAL DELUSIONS Everyone is famous
for fifteen minutes, and GLAVER is it right now. Most challenged warrior. Isn't
CYNICAL DELUSIONS proud!
Like the wind whispering among the pines, do hearest I many disquieting rumors.
More than one waitress at The Victory Tavern was spilling more drinks than usual last
week, as CRYPT's early demise became known. What will DEATH do??? Congratulations,
HELLSPAWN. The manager of BLUVALLEY WARRIORS should have sent COOLIN SCOT to the
Dark Arena for having a 3-8-0 long ago. Oh hard! that to strike a flame, the match
itself must needs be wasting!

Well, it just figures sending the story out and never giving me a chance to explain
the circumstances. Bad press is good press. Novgorodny Vir, hmm well here it is. A
challenge to my junior, well I wouldn't call Jacinthe my junior if I were you, what a
great warrior to stand there against Glaver. Now the mail system is another matter
all alone. I've found certain couriers drunken for days, falling behind and messing
things up, like my challenges that is, sorry but I was supposed to be challenging up
and not down, but if fights happen before my paperwork makes it to whomever, well
then that's for the gods to decide then. Now for Galoot, let's see, do you really
think that I would sink that low to further the demise of another warrior by
challenging down 19, then decreasing that rating further, don't think so. I assure
that any, but can't promise you, that the next round should reflect proper codes of
honor, or I will personally rain death down on those highly paid pony riders. --

In response to the Desolate Empire's declaration of war, the Vendetta Cartel offers
the following response:
The members of the Vendetta Cartel can be found in 1, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 22, 25, 28,
31, 39, 45, 47, 50, 52, 54, 59, 60, 100, and 106. Stop yapping in the all-arena ads,
pick an arena, issue a challenge, actually win something, and then maybe (and we
stress maybe) you may speak. You may come to our home arenas (8, 31, and 47) and
confront us, but we suggest you learn to win in your own "home" arena (52) first.
