If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
ARDIVENT brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Later days, BLUVALLEY WARRIORS,
since FANDILS took top team from you this turn, you guys are old news. Gee, I'm
impressed, a 5-0-1 is nice, but don't get cocky, DEATHTONGUE, the Fates teach
humility, and the Fates are proud. Of course, we're all terribly impressed to see
OLIVER win a fight and gain 15 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, W. D. PURDY beat MARCI
FOOTE and MARCI FOOTE lost 9 points. You're breakin' my heart. Due to absence, and
inability to defend the throne, ANCHORMAN has lost the Title of Duelmaster. Start
setting that alarm earlier! And it's out with the old, in with the new, as OLIVER
takes the Title and last week's bar tab from the old Duelmaster. Heh, heh. The
Seaside Manor, humph! I've tasted better ale at mortuaries. Where do they get this
stuff? From ARDIVENT's trash dumps?
He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day, the coward.
ARDIVENT, I am losing what little hope I had in you. LEGION OF STEEL the most
avoided team? What insult will suffice, I cannot say. And who led the way in this
mass act of cowardice? Let's see, well, whatcha know? It was FANDILS. Ha ha ha ha!
Ah, now we come to my favorite part, where we see all the guys who are dead and
gone, and get to see if their team cared. Not that I'll be buying the drinks, but
I'll be glad to see FRAN BRAN and DEATHTONGUE at The Seaside Manor tonight
celebrating their bloodfeud victory over KATERINA COLLIN. Honor is like a chainmail
shirt, it only shines through use. Certain nameless cowards will doubtless rebuke me
on this one.
What does the ARDIVENT arena have in common with the inns? It's just as
comfortable to sleep in either place. Ha ha ha ha! Well, I've had enough of this
drivel, and I'm sure you have too. Off like a dirty shirt of padded leather. Glad
