DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
It is such an honor to be given the title of Duelmaster. I just do my job as I
can and someone tells me that I'm the new Duelmaster. I certainly don't understand.
I will say that the feasts they give are better than the left overs we get at work.
So I'm well fed and happy and this turn I have to try and serve up Shelley Ann. I
hope she tips well, because while parties and and speeches are all good and fine,
they don't pay the bills!

Welcome ARDIVENT. I, Olaf Modeen remember this place well. Many the fights
have I fought here. The celebrations, the disappointments... Biff! Pow! ARDIVENT
watched with glee as 24 HOURS OF DOOM got knocked off top spot by AZURE CLOUDS! Ya
gotta be quick on yer feet! Keep your elbow off the table! Thrust! Block out the
pain! FANDILS is now ranked 2nd with a 3-1-0 turn. Some people say I ramble too
much, I don't say anything relevant. I repeat myself. I ramble. Well AZURE CLOUDS
moved up 1, to 1st. Welcome to ARDIVENT, EXOTIC BLADES! We need more teams who can
get a 3-0-1 their first time out! What's with VIOLENT ORANGE? She actually beat
BLUVALLEY WARRIORS' MARCI FOOTE, and walked away with 18 more points from the fight.
Laughs were big at EXOTIC BLADES while they watched ETERNITY clobber FUTTERBINGER.
He lost 9 points and got bruised from objects thrown from the stands. Another
fighter (SHELLEY ANN 9-9-1) challenged another Duelmaster (THE COOK MESSED UP 7-2-0).
Life goes on. I can barely restrain my enthusiam for FANDILS' outstanding member,
Duelmaster SHELLEY ANN. I suppose you want to hear some rumors and dirty gossip
about your fellow fighters? Tough!
If at first you don't succeed, avoid. That'll get you in the Spyreports. How
well I know the feeling of being in the most avoided team! Don't fall out of
practive, SERPENT'S HOLD! Management must be dealin', as the boys at AZURE CLOUDS
ain't reelin'! SERPENT'S HOLD's mad! How well I know the feeling of being the most
challenged warrior, NO NAME! Don't make idle boasts, they may come back to haunt
you.
A fighter's lot is filled with strife, revenge, and killing. Some fighters
don't accept this. The best do. Many a warrior has met his fate in a hungover
stupor. You young rapscallions, take note!
Well, I'm pretty much through. You guys need to get back practicing. ARDIVENT
is a nice place to live, but I don't like to live in nice places. Remember--a good
