Notes from the arena champ.
Well I'm off to retirement. I'm a very old Consortium waste that ended up with
a Great Sword fave. Great, since I've never used it. But a fun if fragile weapon.
I ended up 17,15 and raised stats for the 1st 10 turns before learning a couple of
skills.
Slugbait was a total slacker and it looks like I'll miss this turn but I'll
plunk in this column so I'm not a total loser.
Ron Burgundy looks like you will have to go back to your day job.

Well, what are you looking at, ARDIVENT? Ain't you never seen Snide Clemens
before? Ah, shaddup and listen to my news. Later days, AZURE CLOUDS, since FANDILS
took top team from you this turn, you guys are old news. FANDILS turned their 5-0-0
turn into a 1st place rank in the listings this turn. Any better than this, and you
get put on hit lists. Of course, we're all terribly impressed to see UNCLE JUNIOR
win a fight and gain 21 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, UNCLE JUNIOR beat JOUBERT KLEE
and JOUBERT KLEE lost 17 points. You're breakin' my heart. Due to absence, and
inability to defend the throne, BLACK BILE has lost the Title of Duelmaster. Start
setting that alarm earlier! And it's out with the old, in with the new, as KURT
COBAIN takes the Title and last week's bar tab from the old Duelmaster. Heh, heh.
I'm not in a very good mood today, but why am I telling you this? You want to know
what's new, don't you, ARDIVENT?
Well, let's take a look at some more misdeeds of you miserable sword-boys.
ERRATA, I suppose you'll be glad to know you were this turn's most avoided team.
Care to know who is the most afraid of you? And who led the way in this mass act of
cowardice? Let's see, well, whatcha know? It was FANDILS. Ha ha ha ha! Ooh, I'm
frightfully impressed, WHAT WATER? was this turn's most challenged warrior. Watch
that ego swell, sports fans. I suspect either a 21 will or a 21 ego on this one, but
IRVIN has challenged up by 29 in an attempt against JIMI HENDRIX. My sides still
hurt from laughing about JIMI HENDRIX losing and giving IRVIN 21 points of
recognition. Ha ha ha ha!!
Ah, now we come to my favorite part, where we see all the guys who are dead and
gone, and get to see if their team cared. Honor is like a chainmail shirt, it only
shines through use. Certain nameless cowards will doubtless rebuke me on this one.
There's got to be a better place in ARDIVENT to get a drink than The Victory
Tavern! Any suggestions? Just wait 'till next time I show up here, I won't be so
