SPY REPORT
It is I, Novgorodny Vir, Spymaster of Spymasters. Look on my work, ye mighty,
and despair! The boys at WE GOT GAME left the arena dejected, after being kicked out
of the top spot by WRATHMEN. Good show! Nothing works for a team like victory
(How's that for a perceptive observation?) as DUNGEON CELL can attest... WRATHMEN
posted a nice gain, to come in 1st. Everybody loves a winner... WE GOT GAME had
cause to celebrate, after KASPAROV got 18 points by beating VIRGINAL CONCUBINE. Win
some, lose some. Speaking of which, HEREFORD JONES was winsome, after beating
HEADSMAN and seeing him lose 10 points. What can be a greater victory? NIMZOVICH
has taken his place as the top, as ARDIVENT's new Duelmaster. Word has it one team
in ARDIVENT is using psychics to predict wins. They lead a charmed life!
A Zenmaster once told me, 'Does not the spinning wheel turn? And do not the
little birds cry out?' Any ideas? Like the noble eagle soaring amongst the
mountaintops, so stand the warriors of FANDILS, alone and unchallenged. The warriors
of FANDILS found their efforts at combat frustrated as WRATHMEN apparently had more
important things to do than fight. Is it charming personality? Conversational
abilities? Good oral hygiene? Whatever it is, TYNARAE is the most challenged
warrior. TYNARAE found herself challenged by a warrior 18 below: EARL. EARL of
FANDILS kept his wits as he was defeated by TYNARAE.
Ah, the duel! The roar of the oppenent, the smell of the crowd! Ask not a
spymaster for counsel, for he will pontificate long after you have fallen into an
unconscious stupor.
All good things must come to an end. My fingers tire and I fear my incessant
prattling may cause unfair judgement upon my impeccable character. ARDIVENT, I leave
