Hey, B.B., you found your man in me, didn't you? Honey, let me tell you, it takes
more than a little toothpick thrust to the groin to keep me down!
My dear SCOMSSites, it's so nice to lead you! My name is Jack McFarland, but you can
just call me Jack. Just Jack. You know, I'm no stranger to being in the limelight.
I performed a one-man show off-off-off Broadway that was THIS close to hitting the
big time! I would have made it if the theatre owner had only given me enough time to
find an audience. Rats! Oh well, in the meantime I've taken up this gladiator stuff
to make ends meet (no pun intended)...blush. I'm not going to bother with
challenging my closest "friends" in the Challenger Champs. No, I'm going to issue
another bloodfeud challenge to Philp of Macedon with the intention of killing him.
THEN I'll worry about facing his teammates in the CC ranks. :)

Well, what are you looking at, SCOMSS SWAMP? Ain't you never seen Snide Clemens
before? Ah, shaddup and listen to my news. If The Swinging Aardvark is buying
drinks for BLACK STORM's good turn, I'm afraid the place will be dry before long. A
5-0-0 makes for a big thirst. With any luck, I can sneak into The Swinging Aardvark
and join OLD HABITS' celebration over their good record this turn. 8th place, not
bad. Look out below! NATURAL B. KILLERS 2 is on the way down, falling to 16th from
3rd with a 1-3-0! Ha ha ha ha! Now let's all watch GOTHIC MINISTRY's heads swell
from their 4-0-0 this turn. Haa ha ha ha! Big shots, big talk, big deal. I can
just hear all the boasts coming in DOJO's next personal ads. Their first turn they
went 3-2-0. Of course, we're all terribly impressed to see B.B. CROSS win a fight
and gain 29 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, ETIENNE DUPLAIX beat ICHORID and ICHORID
lost 15 points. You're breakin' my heart. And if variety is the spice of life,
SCOMSS SWAMP may be getting bland, as JACK MCFARLAND stays top dog in the city. The
Swinging Aardvark, humph! I've tasted better ale at mortuaries. Where do they get
this stuff? From SCOMSS SWAMP's trash dumps?
He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day, the coward. What's
the big D? THE BEAR'S PAW was the most avoided team? Bunch of lily livered...
grumble... mumble... curse... And it looks like THE BEAR'S PAW avoided them the most
this turn. What a pack of would be losers, if you ask me. Hmph. Ooh, I'm
frightfully impressed, ART PENDRAGON was this turn's most challenged warrior. Watch
that ego swell, sports fans. CLINTONLIKESBUSH was challenged by one of AGE OF
EMPIRES' warriors this turn, with CYRUS THE GREAT having a lead of 20 points going
into the fight. Question now is, will SCOMSS SWAMP accept this sort of tacky
behavior? CYRUS THE GREAT beating CLINTONLIKESBUSH. The insult, the....yech! I
guess I can give a little credit to ROGER L'BEAU of KNIGHTS TEMPLAR for challenging
up by 21 to CRYPT ANGEL. ROGER L'BEAU lost to get 7 points of recognition. And we
have CAESAR in a TV challenge, going down 14 points for the fight. Guess what? I
thought CAESAR showed great skill and promise when he was overcame by BOMBADIL. All
right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
Ah, now we come to my favorite part, where we see all the guys who are dead and
gone, and get to see if their team cared. Nipped in the bud, you might say, was
TARANTELLA of LOST SOULS this turn. Course, I wouldn't say that, so much as have a
belly laugh. Heh heh. And what a stunning loss we have here, boys and girls, SWAMP
ROSE HAMMER of ALL SWAMP HAMMERZ has added the final loss to hers 6-9-0. Tee hee!
Ya gotta go sometime, and SAMBA's time was this time. Hmmm, not a bad fighter, had
she lived... (what? me pity?). Well, CYANIDE, I guess LIFE'S LESSONS stable was
just too chicken to bloodfeud you over BONDS ON 'ROIDS. I guess cowardice is part of
managing a team. Not that I'll be buying the drinks, but I'll be glad to see BLOOD
RAYNE and DARK PINNACLE at The Swinging Aardvark tonight celebrating their bloodfeud
victory over CHAOS BOAST. A big yahoo goes out to FULBOTLNFRNTOME this turn, for
revenging FREEDONIA's bloodfeud against THINGS I DROOL IN's warrior STUFF. Heh, heh,
heh. Honor is like a chainmail shirt, it only shines through use. Certain nameless
cowards will doubtless rebuke me on this one.
There's got to be a better place in SCOMSS SWAMP to get a drink than The

The Olympics have arrived!
The Mordanti Olympics, having been gone for six years, have returned to the Mordanti
Alliance, sponsored by Amicitia Primoris. Teams have competed against each other for
recognition and notoriety four times in the past. It is far past time for the fifth
Mordanti Olympics to be held. The Mordanti Olympics shall be held in the Mordant
arena (DM-1) from May 1st (T544) through Oct 30 (T557). There will be a
'registration period' lasting until T543, where teams will be allowed to register by
activating in Mordant and declaring their participation in the personals. Rules will
be posted in the Mordant arena (DM-1) newsletter no later than T543, but shall be
available online before then. An announcement will be made as to where they will be
posted. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
