Turf War Rule Modification
The Turf War moderators have met and discussed the rules and determined that the
intention of the rule language was not to prevent participation, but to prevent teams
from entering the arena through team transfer and being able to challenge without
being avoided or challenged.
As such, the following changes to the rules are in effect:
* There are no disqualifications for not appearing in the newsletter on Turn 452.
* Scoring for teams that are not listed in the rankings on turn 452 will begin the
turn after they are listed in the newsletter. This includes both team and alliance
points/wins. (If a team appears on Turn 1, their contribution to fights/wins begins
on Turn 2).
* However, if a team appears on Turn 1, the fights on Turn 1 WILL count for the
purpose of their participation award (obviously, teams that appear after turn 1 are
not eligible for the participation award).
In the future, the rule language will reflect the intention of rules, allowing for
teams and alliances to join after turn 1, but not allowing team transfers to gain an
advantage.

I was going on vacation, see? Surf, sun... But what do those bums say? "Hit
the road, Debby Tonte. NORTH FORK needs a spyreport." Oh, well. Like, N.E.R.D.
LIFE had to be so embarrassed when they got kicked off #1 spot by LAND OF OZ! Way to
go LAND OF OZ! BASH BROS PARK had like a really albendranius week! Those hunks got
a 4-1-0 and wound up as 8th team! I couldn't believe it. Did WRATHMEN 21-21 really
go up by 12? If only those guys didn't have so may missing teeth... Gross! See if
I even talk to any of those losers in DARQUE FORCES again! Didja see where they got
1-4-0? Somebody musta won a lotta fights! Cut this out and put it in your
scrapbooks, CHEERS! 'Cause they got 4-1-0 and moved up to 3rd! MVP award for LADY
FINGERS? SHEWISH DINER's proud of her after beating FAILED FORTE and getting 47
points. Talk about yer big time losers! VEXILLARIUS got smashed by SLOW COOK, and
lost 16 points! The Duelmaster isn't going to stop just cause he's Number One! BURN
knows this. He was challenged by the Duelmaster. Was that a tear I saw in BURN's
eye, as he took over Duelmastership? And wasn't TRY ONE fit to be tied! Who was the
wiseguy that said NORTH FORK's Duelmaster was paying for drinks at The Dripping
Blade? Don't look at me!
So just why would someone becomes a warrior anyway? It can't be for these
really neat Spyreports can it? LAND OF OZ was NORTH FORK's most avoided team. Is
there some award for that? I don't know what SATAN'S MINIONS' been doing. They
certainly haven't been accepting many fights from LAND OF OZ, that's fer sher. Like,
is SPOCK popular, or what? He was challenged the most in all of NORTH FORK! He's
got a 0-3-0, is that good? People were asking me did BARSTOOL 5 REALLY challenge
TOXYGEN? (all right, maybe they didn't, but it sounded good!) It wasn't a
spectacular fight, or anything, but TOXYGEN wants me to write about it since it
subdued BARSTOOL 5. Satisfied?
Challenges, revenges, Bloodfeuds. All NORTH FORK ever talks about is fighting!
Me, I'm more laid back. SHEIK TZU of REIGNNCATSNDOGS wasn't planning on killing MEGA
MOOSE KNUCKLE, I bet. Now he has to worry about being Bloodfeuded, and getting put
on lists... What a bummer deal for LUCKY DUCKY! She just barely was getting hers
"fighter feet" but got kill by ZIT of LAZY BOYZ! Those're the breaks, I guess.
Fight, fight, fight. Is that all you guys can do?
Remember, blood on a purple robe may stain. Soak it in cold water, and hand
