DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
This comes as a complete shock! I was not expecting to get a graduation notice last
turn, but it is a welcome surprise. I have already expressed my condolences in the
personal ads but will do so once again to Oliver Queen and his teammates. The last
turn was our 6th bout with one another, and I never anticipated it would turn deadly.
I know, I know, we are fighting with real weapons and such, but I like to think once
we reach a certain level in the arena that we can control it a bit better. The Fates
are laughing at me, I know.
I'm off to Crysalis and retirement. I leave the arena the way I came into it as a 9-
12-10-15-17-4-17 PL. The Commission says that I like the LO, as well as a VL/LO
fighting rhythm. I can honestly say that I've never used either one of them. I also
seem to like the Lunge tactic and learn Riposte skills.
I am not sure who will take my place as Duelmaster next cycle. I will be active and
do not see me challenging the Dark Arena. Something tells me I would not fare so well
in there. It may be the lighting; it is horrendous!

I can't believe the violence in SNOWBOUND! I still haven't told Mom I'm writing
Spyreports. She'd have a cow! Well, here we go... MVP award for OFF SEASON? BASH
BROS SPORTS' proud of him after beating JANICE KOLE and getting 21 points. Talk
about yer big time losers! UNIQUE got smashed by RHAPSODY, and lost 5 points! This
Duelmaster is like something else! TONIC stopped HELGA ICELAND dead in hers tracks!
Is the Duelmaster really being a real snob to his teammates? Don't ask me!
Look, you guys stick to fighting, all right? The warriors of BOOK OF THOMAS
must be getting lonely. They were the most avoided team. Do you guys know something
that I don't? Is there some deep dark secret why DARQUE THEORY's been avoiding BOOK
OF THOMAS so much? Or is it just that they're too scared?
Challenges, revenges, Bloodfeuds. All SNOWBOUND ever talks about is fighting!
Me, I'm more laid back. D'ya think DANGEROUS CRIMINAL is feeling guilty for killing
DARQUE THEORY's DA CAPO, a mere boy? Naah, I doubt it. What if they had a fight and
nobody showed up? I'd be out of a job, that's what!!!
Remember, blood on a purple robe may stain. Soak it in cold water, and hand
wash. I'm getting tired of writing this stuff, so I'm calling it quits. Remember
