Notes from the arena champ.
Greetings, all and sundry! It's good to be back on top, but, like our good friend
AILLENDEI, I'm apparently wanted elsewhere. Hats off to our gal, and one...two...
three...FOR SHE'S A JOLLY GOOD FELLLLOW! FOR SHE'S A JOLLY GO--alright, I'll knock
it off....
I am my manager's very first graduate, so what does he do to celebrate my last fight?
Dark Arena...them's the breaks.
Anyway, for those who like to keep track of such things, I was hired ten years ago,
spent nine of those unemployed, then came back with a vengeance last November!
Here's my stats:

I favored LO and VH/VH; ADVEXP in ATT & INI, and EXP in DEF & RIP.
Peace to all, I'm off to 100, but don't know if I'll fight much, since I've already
got 10 years over everyone else. Gettin' old; think I'll find me a cottage on the
northern coast and knit black kilts.

SPY REPORT
If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
TRICORUS brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. TRICORUS saw the first turn for
DAZED N CONFUSED, a 4-1-1, and some teams are scared, others are too arrogant to
notice. Take note friends, take note. Of course, we're all terribly impressed to
see WHOLE LOTTA LUV win a fight and gain 18 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, WHOLE LOTTA
LUV beat VARGOI and VARGOI lost 9 points. You're breakin' my heart. Going for broke
or broken, our Duelmaster FREEDOM FIGHTER Dark Arena Challenged this turn. The
crowds were amazed this turn, as FREEDOM FIGHTER killed the Duelmaster, BLACK
CLANSMAN, leaving BLACK CONVENTICLE in mourning. This incredible death has allowed,
I might add, DARK SWEET TREAT from BLACK CONVENTICLE to ascend to the throne of
Duelmaster, and I hear DARK ARENA is not happy. Kickbacks and bribes, kickbacks and
bribes, how else do you think some of these guys win their fights? Skill? Ha!
My mother always told me, 'If you don't have anything nice to say, start
talking.' I loved that woman. DARK HORSEMEN, I suppose you'll be glad to know you
were this turn's most avoided team. Care to know who is the most afraid of you? And
who led the way in this mass act of cowardice? Let's see, well, whatcha know? It
was RAISING R'LYEH. Ha ha ha ha! Ooh, I'm frightfully impressed, THE JONAH was this
turn's most challenged warrior. Watch that ego swell, sports fans. I guess I can
give a little credit to BUM of ERRATA for challenging up by 18 to THE JONAH. BUM
lost to get 33 points of recognition.
Some people like volunteer work in the hospitals. I volunteer for TRICORUS'
morgue. More variety. Honor is like a chainmail shirt, it only shines through use.
Certain nameless cowards will doubtless rebuke me on this one.
There's got to be a better place in TRICORUS to get a drink than The Silver
Chalice! Any suggestions? Just wait 'till next time I show up here, I won't be so

15 managers have announced for the Stormcrowe Slaughterhouse!!!!!! There is still
time to join and make a name for yourself in one of Alastari's fiercest contests! I
must correct a mistake in the previous announcement. I incorrectly called it the
Slaughterhouse 2, but in reality, this will be the third installment of the
Slaughterhouse!
HOW TO JOIN
*Find a Partner
*Declare your intentions in the Stormcrowe newsletter to enter before the first turn
of the contest. You may also email or diplo Master Darque.
*Each manager entering the Stormcrowe Slaughterhouse must submit one (1) Team Roll-Up
Certificate. Only certificates will be accepted for entry. All certificates
submitted will be used during the course of the contest as prizes.
*RU certificates must be received on or before the first turn of the contest which is
Stormcrowe Turn 263 (running approximately November 27, 2007).
RULES and SCORING
Rules and Scoring information for the Slaughterhouse will be posted every turn in the
Stormcrowe newsletter beginning with Turn 260 and in a final all arena ad in
November.
PRIZES
ENDURANCE AWARD: One (1) +1 Bonus Potion will be given to every team that competes
in 60 of the 65 contest fights.
KILL MASTER AWARD: The individual manager with the most kills will receive a Limited
Immortality Potion. This potion may be applied to one (1) warrior. He/she will be
resurrected ONE-TIME if they are killed in Basic D2.
TOP TEAM AWARD: Each manager on the winning team will receive the following prize
pack for their Slaughterhouse Dominance:
*One (1) +1 Bonus Potion
*Favorites Knowledge for one (1) Warrior
*Undisclosed amount of Team RU Certificates
Special note from RSI on prizes: All contest prizes must be used within three
months. All contest prizes may only be used on a living warrior on the participating
contest team in DM 45. The immortality potion may resurrect a warrior one time,
after a death in DM 45 only, after which time the potion disappears.
