Notes from the arena champ.
Another satisfying victory over Y'ha-nthlei, but still he eludes death. I
admire his will to live, for it will make extinguishing his soul that much more
sweet...
I will try once more to end his miserable life. But if fate has me face
another, then so it will be. Mayhap Mahagal or Nyarlahotep will provide my next
victory. My flail\'s barbs thirst for another...

If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
TRICORUS brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. If this keeps up, RAISING R'LYEH,
you'll have to shine swords instead of use them. A drop of 4 in the rankings? Of
course, we're all terribly impressed to see GRAPEFRUIT win a fight and gain 19
points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, GRAPEFRUIT beat MAHAGHAL and MAHAGHAL lost 11 points.
You're breakin' my heart. And if variety is the spice of life, TRICORUS may be
getting bland, as BEAST stays top dog in the city. The Blue Dolphin Inn, humph!
I've tasted better ale at mortuaries. Where do they get this stuff? From TRICORUS'
trash dumps?
He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day, the coward. What's
the big D? RAISING R'LYEH was the most avoided team? Bunch of lily livered...
grumble... mumble... curse... And it looks like AMAZON ELITE avoided them the most
this turn. What a pack of would be losers, if you ask me. Hmph. Ooh, I'm
frightfully impressed, MAHAGHAL was this turn's most challenged warrior. Watch that
ego swell, sports fans. And we have DARK JUSTICAR in a challenge, going down 8
points for the fight. Guess what? I thought DARK JUSTICAR showed great skill and
promise when he was subdued by KAMILDSA. All right, so I slept through it! Big
deal!
Some people like volunteer work in the hospitals. I volunteer for TRICORUS'
morgue. More variety. We're all going to die in the end, so why worry if the fate
catches up with you sooner that later?
What does the TRICORUS arena have in common with the inns? It's just as
comfortable to sleep in either place. Ha ha ha ha! Well, I've had enough of this
