                                      SPY REPORT

Greetings, Warriors of FRATSFA. Allow this humble servant Novgorodny Vir to
give you a respite from the fights in the form of this Spyreport. ASSASSIN NATION
had cause to celebrate, after VICIOUS got 21 points by beating RENDOR QUIL. MUTILATE
certainly had a baffled expression on his face, after losing to PHEURTON SKEURTO and
losing 6 points in the process! Those who hoped for a new Duelmaster were
disappointed by STRING BEAN JEAN, of THE FURIOUS FIVE, who despite a 15-12-0 couldn't
overcome FRATSFA's Number 1. So who's the team that's been walking into taverns last
week and ordering milk? Sounds like a PR stunt to me.
So much to report, so little time! Like the noble eagle soaring amongst the
mountaintops, so stand the warriors of MIDDLE WAY 8, alone and unchallenged. The
warriors of MIDDLE WAY 8 found their efforts at combat frustrated as ASSASSIN NATION
apparently had more important things to do than fight. Everyone is famous for
fifteen minutes, and STRING BEAN JEAN is it right now. Most challenged warrior.
Isn't THE FURIOUS FIVE proud!
Ah, the duel! The roar of the oppenent, the smell of the crowd! Ask not a
spymaster for counsel, for he will pontificate long after you have fallen into an
unconscious stupor.
Do not think spyreporting in FRATSFA is the highlight of my life. More
important duties call me. Do not despair! I shall return!-- Novgorodny Vir

Well Fratsfa, you have me for three turns before I sit again for the next tournament.
Sitting worked well for me this last tournament. I went 11-3-3, killing two in the
later rounds when they would have at least had a TV. I'm here, if you want me! --
Vicious

Lena Koril -- Never heard the one about the lobster who went to the beach with his
lady. Have you heard the one about the Parry-Striker with the spear in his belly?
Of course you have. *wink* -- Mayhem, who knows he is in no position to taunt anyone,
but does it anyway

String Bean Jean -- Gosh, I'd be furious, too, if somebody called me that. How rude!
You're not a "string bean," you're svelte. -- Lena Koril

Murray -- (yearningly) I'd really like to see you connected with an over-ripe kiwi
fruit. I think it'd be a wonderful sight. A sort of "make my day" sight. -- Tealin
Sali

Orca -- So...you're an Orc, huh? Uh, fine. Fine. Good people, Orcs, I'm sure. Uh,
fairly sure. You, uh, carry it off well. -- Rendor Quil
P.S. But I don't get the significance of the flippers, and the odd sort of fin on
the back of your armor.
P.P.S. And, really, black and white isn't "you."

Toledo -- Ouch. That's where they make steel, isn't it? Sword blades. Ouch. --
Salina Rees

Glen -- Huh! That's the last time I'll be sympathetic toward someone who's short!
Damned pushy little runt. -- Norvan Patt the not-tactful

All you alliance-type people, I'm trying (again!) to get my alliance listing correct
and up to date. Either send me a diplo (address it to The Saint) or send your
updates to me directly at Sue at solberg-mathews.com. As you may guess, replace the
at with @ and you're good to go (I do hate spammy mail and this will end up on the
web).

I have information on the following alliances: ADIO, Allied Axis, Armada,
Brotherhood of Justice, Brotherhood of the Blade, Cadre, CDC, Chaos, Inc., Circle of
Order, Company of Brothers, Consortium, Council of Lords, Couple Good Guys, Crimson
Vengeance, DOA, DOOMcorps, Enigmafia, Eurosquad, Fascist Federation, FONZ,
Frothingslosh Syndicate, GAPPDA, Homeland Alliance, IT Alliance, Jingoists, kLk,
Knights of the Covenant, LBA, League Arcane, Legion6, Living Essences, Lords and
Ladies of Darkness, Manic Union, Midnight Foundation, Minions of Diana, Monarchs of
Montezuma, NCA, NIMROD, R.A.G.E., Seventh Sons, The Firm, The French Connection,
Vendett@ United, and the Vendetta Cartel.

If you are a member of one of these alliances, let me know. If you are a member of
some other alliance that isn't listed, let me know. If you were at any point in your
past a part of one of these alliance but are now independent, also let me know.
Going inactive doesn't mean you get removed from this list; people are assumed to
still be in the same alliance when they return. Even having everyone in an alliance
go inactive doesn't change anything. If an alliance is officially disbanding, that's
another thing you have to let me know....

The Saint, keeper of lists

P.S. If you already responded to my online plea (and I replied), you can ignore
this.

Hammer 500-Hammer Run for the Roll Ups
                                  Hosted by Hammer

Niytyole Island DM 33 has dwindled to the point where as of T-482 [duedate
November 3, 2004] there were only 2 active stables listed with 3 inactive stables in
a once thriving and lively regular arena.
During the past 40+ cycles Hammer has been hosting the Hammer Run for the Roll
Ups in DM 33.
Thus far only the Ripper and Slasher categories have produced winners to claim
the 5 New Team Roll Ups Prize for being the first declared Style Master of their
respective categories to graduate.
Every contending stable has gone inactive for one reason or another, including
CASINO HAMMERZ, over the past several months.
Now DM 33 faces the harsh reality that if RSI chooses to close any arenas due to
little or no interest, Niytyole Island could very well head the list of endangered
regular arenas!
In an effort to preserve his beloved island, Hammer is announcing the
continuation of the Hammer Run for the Roll Ups; combined with the Hammer 500 which
will conclude both contests on T-500 [duedate July 13, 2005] should DM 33 continue to
remain open in the coming months.
     Attention Hammer Runners!
The Hammer Run is for 0 FE Basic Arena Warriors ONLY. Participants MUST Be
Declared in the P-ads On or Before their First DM 33 Basic Arena Fight to Qualify as
a Hammer Runner! Winners of Each Category will receive 5 New Team Roll Up Gift
Certificates mailed from RSI courtesy of Hammer! [On the condition that they
Graduate on or before T-500; see amended rules below!]
The following Style Master categories remain open with a listing of how many
declared contestants are still entered and their W/L recognition record at the time
of their disappearance from the Hammer Run competition:

CATEGORIES WILL BE DECLARED NULL AND VOID BY HAMMER!!!!!!!!!
The purpose of this contest is to restore DM 33 to a lively and entertaining
arena!
Hammer is willing to foot the Prize bill in a last ditch effort to save Niytyole
Island from deletion if RSI and the Gladiatorial Commission decide that more arenas
need to be closed due to lack of participation and interest.
Should this effort fail to spare DM 33 from deletion, then Hammer is prepared to
transfer CASINO HAMMERZ to another arena if Niytyole Island is closed by RSI and the
Gladiatorial Commission.
