Questers Contest INFO!
I am in a rush this turn for life has been busy for me of late. So, if here are
any mistakes this turn, please go easy on me! (grin) As you will see, Heathen has
taken a commanding lead this turn. He leads Crip by 16 pts. I wish I had more time,
but I must press on to the scoring. Hopefully next turn I can provide more depth. I

Requirements!
1) Only ONE team per manager entered in the contest. Only one active team in
Fratsfa during the contest, PERIOD!
2) Only one TP on your team at a time. (If it dies, then you may replace it.)
3) You must declare (1) warrior as your team scout. Points will not be scored until
a scout is declared!!!
4) You do not need (3) three warriors in the initiates class to compete. FE does
not play a factor for eligibility!!!!
5) If you bloodfeud, you must use a different warrior each time to score the FB
points. (If a warrior is used twice, he will only be awarded the points for the
win or point subtracted for the loss on the second bloodfeud.
6) You must declare your team in the p-ads to be entered.
7) A champion and scout cannot be the same warrior.
8) Champions are not required (manager's choice). Champions must be declared on
their first fight of the contest!
Now to the scoring formula:
Wins + Kills - Losses = Base score
Base score + Variant score = Total score
BASE SCORE POINTS:
Win = +1 pt
Kill = +1 pt
Loss = -1 pt
VARIANT SCORE POINTS:
Scout Win = +2 pts
Scout Loss = -2 pts
Scout death = -5 pts
Champion win = +3 pts
Champion loss = -3 pts
Stylemaster for turn = +1 pt
Most avoided team = +2 pts
Successful Bloodfeud = +2 pts
Failed Bloodfeud = -2 pts
Let's say (A) team goes 3 - 2 - 2 = 3 wins + 2 kills - 2 losses = + 3 base
score. Team (A)'s champion won (+3 pts) and is style master for the turn (1 pt).
His scout lost (-2 pts) for a total turn score of +5 pts.
Now, let's say team (B) goes 1 - 4 - 1 = 1 win + 1 kill - 4 losses = - 2 pts
base score. His scout won (+2 pts) and the scouts win was a successful bloodfeud (+2
pts). So, the total points for this turn would be +2 pts. (There was no champion on
this team.)
+25 bonus points will be given to managers that submit a brief history (5
paragraph minimum) including manager alias and stable name by the contest's third
turn. These points will be added to the team by T-210.

Notes from the arena champ.
It has been a very rough time for The Flower Girls of late. We have lost two of
our very best fighters to death.

That makes for a lot of sadness and mourning plus a lot of gnashing of teeth. But we
promise to carry on.
Lady Fern is quite the talent hunter and always seems to be able to find young
warriors who can "draw 'em to The Flower Shoppe". So we wish and hope only for the
best.
On a happy note, there is me, Insolent Iris, a two-time duelmaster. I think
that outweighs all our problems, don't you?

SPY REPORT
Greetings, Warriors of FRATSFA. Allow this humble servant Novgorodny Vir to
give you a respite from the fights in the form of this Spyreport. Nothing is certain
in FRATSFA, with changing loyalties, changing Duelmasters. Write this down: new top
team--SILVER KNIGHTS. He who laughs last didn't get the joke. Speaking of laughing
at jokes, observe HOPLITES. Last week they got 0-0-0 to drop by 6! What's a move up
by 6 you ask? (alright, maybe you didn't ask) Cause for celebration, according to
SILVER KNIGHTS. Say what you will about blind luck and dirty fighting, but DARK
RAIDERS will tell you 146-164-7 is nothing to laugh at... Practice pays for BLEEDER,
who pummelled PULLED HAMSTRING, to pocket 18 points. Win some, lose some. Speaking
of which, SER VON DARKMOOR was winsome, after beating BYRON and seeing him lose 10
points. TORMENT found out that FRATSFA isn't a democracy. You've gotta be the best
to be Duelmaster here! Word has it one team in FRATSFA is taking speech lessons to
try to bore their opponent to death. I'll bet it works.
A Zenmaster once told me, 'Does not the spinning wheel turn? And do not the
little birds cry out?' Any ideas? To quell some nasty rumors, the guys in DARK
RAIDERS are not carrying any incurable diseases. No need to avoid 'em. As a woman
of good breeding scorns the "warriors" of ODIN'S CHOSEN, so did that sorry team shy
from DARK RAIDERS Is it charming personality? Conversational abilities? Good oral
hygiene? Whatever it is, PANDEMIC is the most challenged warrior. Place your bets!
WINO is the long shot of the week: they challenged TONNELLE, up by 26. Soopreyes,
soopreyes! WINO emerges from the fray 4 points the richer. Good show, WINO! My
love of complete Spyreports dictates that I note the mismatched fight, LORD DAVOS and
AZRITH. Are SILVER KNIGHTS unwilling to engage in a fair fight? I thought LORD
DAVOS showed great skill and promise when he subdued AZRITH. All right, so I slept
through it! Big deal!
Ah, the duel! The roar of the oppenent, the smell of the crowd! Justice was
served as PANDEMIC fought SEVERITY in bloodfeud. Well done, DARK RAIDERS! Ask not a
spymaster for counsel, for he will pontificate long after you have fallen into an
unconscious stupor.
Do not think spyreporting in FRATSFA is the highlight of my life. As if
buffeted by forces of nature beyond my control, I must take my leave of this place.

Igor is trying to hide somewhere. That guy is soo unlucky. I wanted to send
everyone to the Ftf, except Aubin, but Aubin smacked that poor Igor's head and took
his place at the Face (and his strat !!). Now Igor looks like a piece of dung.
About the scoring system, I guess we just have to stick to the established rules this
time, but a few changes should be made next time. The main point is they were
conceived for all-initiate warriors, who could have enjoyed the stylemaster points.
Heathen with his beginners is still leading but most beginning teams have already
quit. I'm not sure about the +5 scout kill, but nothing for Champion kill....
Anyway, this is fun because the remaining managers are talkative people!
Thanks for Bob, Heathen! My guys had a nice mail-in, but I sent them without proxy
at the Face, so they bit dust and Igor lost his marbles.... These few skills won't
help much against the higher part of this arena. Grats on your sturdy lead. I want
