DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
Don't you all get tired of me writing these columns? I am beginning to feel as
though I am the editor of The Floral News! This makes crown number eighteen. 18!
Wow. I think the throne has been fitted to perfectly fit my behind. (And a pretty
perky little behind it is, at that!)
I am beginning to feel sorry for Fire Inc. Our team has not treated them well,
killing two of their warriors unintentionally. That is so sad and unnecessary. All
of us girls apologize. We do. Please forgive us. Let us lick your wounds and make
it right. Yes! We can do that, and do it well!
We are looking forward to the Atlanta Face in July. (There will be a Face,
won't there?) We just love working the crowds and bringing joy and pleasure to all
there. It is a fun time! It is.
A fact for the record; I have had 19 Title fights and only lost one. My record
against styles looks like this:

SL 3-1 (only Aubin L'Aurouge of Blood & Guts has done the trick)

I guess that tells you something, doesn't it.

Insolent Iris
SPY REPORT
It's me, The Unknown Spymaster here with my bag to give you the news on last
week's fights. A stormcloud is brewing over the SITTEES guildhouse. Rumor says any
more weeks like this ones 0-0-0 may send the team to the Dark Arena. Coming up with
a solid 5-0-0 outing, FIRE INC. has advanced 3 places in the rankings. Advancing in
the rankings was ISN'T IT OBVIOUS who went from last turn's 40-47-4, to this week's
record of 43-48-4. Hey everybody, watch out for PAS DE QUARTIER, who flew up 28
points in the rankings after mashing PSYCHOSIS like a melon. Keep your eye on this
guy. And falling like a basher in the top ten was PSYCHOSIS, who dropped 18 points
after a disappointing (to say the least) bout with PAS DE QUARTIER. TONNELLE got
through to the Duelmaster this turn. No doubt he was more than anxious to kick
INSOLENT IRIS' tail out of the throne! Well, everybody's pal INSOLENT IRIS moved
hers record to 33-9-0 by defeating TONNELLE in the Duelmaster's Title Bout and
gaining 13 recognition points. An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but an onion a
day keeps T.P.s at bay.
Let's dig a little deeper into what's happening in the FLORAL VALLEY arena.
Here's a song for you: Who's afraid of the big, bad SITTEES? Big bad SITTEES. Big
bad SITTEES. FLORAL VALLEY's afraid of the big bad SITTEES. Tra la la la la! And
you guys like to boo me? Well, unsling your rasberries, cause BLOOD AND GUTS! beats
feet every time SITTEES smiles at them. Try farming, eh? Well dang howdy, but if
challenges were votes, ALYSON IL'CHANT would be president. Although it may be a
contest she doesn't want to win.
Death is kind of like a new puppy: he's always around wanting to play. (Ha
Zontani, how's that for a wise saying?). Congrats to SPARK for revenging the death
of his teammate (but more importantly, feeding NIMBLE a bit of dirt). In the 'Oops,
What Have I Done?' category, LIFE OR DEATH was mashed by FIRE WALL, who let LIFE OR
DEATH know that killing members of FIRE INC. is a no-no. Remember: alliances are
great, but try and take your ally in the arena with you and see what happens.
Well, there's the manager of the FLORAL VALLEY giving me the 'cut' sign (or is
that 'They're going to strangle you in the alley?). Well, there goes another Spy
