Hail and well met warriors of FRATSFA! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp
Eyes, Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Former top team DRAGONS GUARD II was
unseated this week as PYROMANIA moved up from 3rd ranking to take the top spot with a
3-2-1 record for the round. Did only my eyes note the 3-1-0 record which OTTO'S
PARTS managed to post this round? I don't doubt that such a record will draw
challengers! Due to his absence and inability to defend the throne, CONFLICT has
lost the title of Duelmaster. The city has turned out in honor of TORTURING TULIP,
for with hers arena victory she may now lay claim to the highest position in the
city! Would you believe that over half of the old women in FRATSFA seem to feel that
they could fight better than you gladiators?
But come now, let us look deeper into the maze of contention and crossed blades
that is city FRATSFA. I saw one fighter that warriors avoided when this week's
challenge seeking began. DRAGONS GUARD II is feared. This much I can say. Methinks
more than a few here could name the guild it was that spent the better part of last
week avoiding DRAGONS GUARD II. Indeed it was PYROMANIA. Mighty fighters cannot but
expect competition from those below. CAUSTIC CROCUS take warning! You have more
than a few enemies in FRATSFA. Give 451 DEGREES credit for his courage. Did you
note how he challenged SAVAGE SNOWBALL despite the 31 point difference in their
rankings? 1 points of newly earned recognition and a dose of my admiration is what
451 DEGREES must now weigh against the defeat which resulted. A match that raised a
few eyebrows at the games this week, it seems that TORTURING TULIP posted a challenge
against the more highly recognized TWO. The results, you ask? Well, the firebrand
TORTURING TULIP subdued TWO. Remember warriors, this is the discipline of steel. I
can not but mention with disdain the name of FAT LIP who this week posted a challenge
to a warrior a full 11 points below in the rankings. I thought FAT LIP showed great
skill and promise when it subdued ZOUM LA BOUSE. All right, so I slept through it!
Big deal!

striking down AUDRY you have avenged the honor of your dead. Your virtue is known to
all in FRATSFA. Fate is a fickle mistress. She showers the miserable with fortune

If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
already in FRATSFA. Nice atmosphere you have here! Ahh, but I can hear the spires

NEW TEAMS IN THE TEMPORARY TOURNAMENT ARENA (DM 85)
Please note that all new teams created at the Face-to-Face were temporarily placed in
a temporary Tournament Arena, DM 85. If you requested that your team be placed in a
specific arena, it has already transferred to that arena. Any teams not transferred
out of DM 85 by October 1 will be deleted. If you have questions about any of your

WINTER FACE-TO-FACE IN SUNNY ARIZONA!
Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 14-16, 2011. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-894-7444), the same hotel as
last year by popular request. Room rates are $129.00 per night, 1-2 occupancy, which
includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary manager's reception (yes, really!), free
airport shuttle, free parking and free high speed internet. There's a fitness center,
jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--please make your reservation by December 22
before the block is released! (This is prime season for Phoenix, and people have been
unable to book rooms because they waited too long.) Look for the tournament info
sheet and minioverviews some time in December. We hope you're all looking forward to
