                                      SPY REPORT

Welcome TROCAR. I, Olaf Modeen remember this place well. Many the fights have
I fought here. The celebrations, the disappointments... Woof! PLAGUES were a bunch
of dogs after KATHOUSE got through with 'em! 3rd ain't so sweet as 1st! What's with
BATTLEBLADE? He actually beat TRADERS OF TROCAR's WIMPERETTA, and walked away with
24 more points from the fight. Laughs were big at EYE OF THE STORM while they
watched BATTLEBLADE clobber WIMPERETTA. She lost 9 points and got bruised from
objects thrown from the stands. What a role model for TROCAR's young 'uns! IN-LAWS
becomes Duelmaster, but don't bother to fight no more! I'm sure TROCAR is excited
about CERISA, the new Duelmaster from TRADERS OF TROCAR. (remember?) But when
you've seen as many as I have... Wouldn't it be nice to have live subjects to
practice on? I hear some team is looking into the uses of convicted prisoners.
No matter the time or place, men will always duel.
A fighter's lot is filled with strife, revenge, and killing. Some fighters
don't accept this. The best do. PALLADIARUM of TRADERS OF TROCAR didn't know when
to quit. When you've got a 5-6-0, that's a good sign. Now he's dead. Here's some
advice: study your opponent, master many skills, fight dirty.
Who knows what the future holds for a warrior. More fights, there's no doubt.
TROCAR is a nice place to live, but I don't like to live in nice places. I don't
want to overstay my welcome...-- Olaf Modeen

Lawyer -- A plague upon you! -- Cerisa

Fireant -- Ha! How does that anticide strike you, eh? I thought of burying you in
the sand, and then changed my mind because it seemed that maybe it would be too much
like sending you home to recuperate. Can't have that. -- Daroshtan

Ambitious Guard? A half-elf? Why does that seem so VERY suspicious, eh? Perhaps
because...you're a Xochithlani agent? A foreign troublemaker? Yes, I think SO. --
P.S. I wish they'd let me such your blood. Even though half-elves aren't as
substantial that way as, for instance, humans or orcs, the flavor is exquisite. That
elvish bouquet, you know.

Doomrunner -- You RUN from your doom? Didn't anyone ever tell you that's futile?
Doom follows. Doom is inescapable. Even *I* know that. -- Palladiarum

Wastelander -- A golem? How distasteful. I've never really cared for golems. No
true Aruaki does. They remind us too much of the wizards who created us by twisting
the Ratani. -- Viret the repelled

Kat -- (scowling) Oh, yeah? Well, I don't see Kat-ching as fetch-ching at all. --

Kat -- So, are we looking at love, or war? -- Viret

                         Youngblood's Three and Out Contest

I would like to take this time to announce and invite all managers to compete in what
I think will be an awesome contest. If you haven't ever TC'd at a tourney before,
here is your chance. The contest will start Wednesday, December 1, 2004, but a
chance will be given November 17 to dark arena, only, any warrior that you do not see
fit to run in the contest. So now that I have your attention, here are the rules
(like you didn't know they were coming sooner or later).

 1. Any manager participating can enter one team, only.
 2. No sandbagging whatsoever. (I will keep up with it, every turn.)
 3. No teams or warriors will be allowed to run after contest starts.
 4. All warriors will run until they lose three times, after three losses they are
 5. If a warrior sits out a turn, they are accounted with a loss in the contest.
This is to keep warriors with winning records from sitting out until the end of
     the contest.
 6. If a warrior is killed during the contest, the replacement cannot enter the
 7. If a warrior is killed, bloodfeuding is allowed, but only by a warrior that is
     active in the contest.
 8. If a warrior is run after being eliminated, the manager is disqualified from the
     contest, no questions asked.
 9. Challenges are legal, up or down.
10. Contest will keep going until 1 warrior is left without three losses, and that
warrior, of course, is accounted the winner.
11. All managers participating will be asked to purchase a rollup certificate, to be
awarded to the winners of the contest.

As I have already said, and according to participation, rollups will be awarded
to the first and second place managers. So the majority and minority of the rollups
will be determined when all are accumulated.
Contest Champion--2 Faves prizes, and majority of rollup certificates
Contest Runner-up--1 Faves prize, and minority of rollup certificates
So once again I invite all managers old and new to participate in what should be
a fierce and challenging contest. <<<REMEMBER, FIRST OFFICIAL TURN OF THE CONTEST IS

Going inactive doesn't mean you get removed from this list; people are assumed to
still be in the same alliance when they return. Even having everyone in an alliance

another thing you have to let me know....

Hammer 500-Hammer Run for the Roll Ups
                                  Hosted by Hammer

Niytyole Island DM 33 has dwindled to the point where as of T-482 [duedate
November 3, 2004] there were only 2 active stables listed with 3 inactive stables in
a once thriving and lively regular arena.
During the past 40+ cycles Hammer has been hosting the Hammer Run for the Roll
Ups in DM 33.
Thus far only the Ripper and Slasher categories have produced winners to claim
the 5 New Team Roll Ups Prize for being the first declared Style Master of their
respective categories to graduate.
Every contending stable has gone inactive for one reason or another, including
CASINO HAMMERZ, over the past several months.
Now DM 33 faces the harsh reality that if RSI chooses to close any arenas due to
little or no interest, Niytyole Island could very well head the list of endangered
regular arenas!
In an effort to preserve his beloved island, Hammer is announcing the
continuation of the Hammer Run for the Roll Ups; combined with the Hammer 500 which
will conclude both contests on T-500 [duedate July 13, 2005] should DM 33 continue to
remain open in the coming months.
     Attention Hammer Runners!
The Hammer Run is for 0 FE Basic Arena Warriors ONLY. Participants MUST Be
Declared in the P-ads On or Before their First DM 33 Basic Arena Fight to Qualify as
a Hammer Runner! Winners of Each Category will receive 5 New Team Roll Up Gift
Certificates mailed from RSI courtesy of Hammer! [On the condition that they
Graduate on or before T-500; see amended rules below!]
The following Style Master categories remain open with a listing of how many
declared contestants are still entered and their W/L recognition record at the time
of their disappearance from the Hammer Run competition:

Hammer is willing to foot the Prize bill in a last ditch effort to save Niytyole
Island from deletion if RSI and the Gladiatorial Commission decide that more arenas
need to be closed due to lack of participation and interest.
Should this effort fail to spare DM 33 from deletion, then Hammer is prepared to
transfer CASINO HAMMERZ to another arena if Niytyole Island is closed by RSI and the
