Notes from the arena champ.
Once more it seems. I guess third time's a charm, eh, Mousetrap? Looking at
the competition down below I think I'll have a rough time staying number one, but I
will try. (big grin)
Chaos Warrior
SPY REPORT
It is I, Novgorodny Vir, Spymaster of Spymasters. Look on my work, ye mighty,
and despair! TRADERS OF TROCAR? Who? JANIX is the top team these days, buddies!
Nothing works for a team like victory (How's that for a perceptive observation?) as
BLIND FURY can attest... Say what you will about blind luck and dirty fighting, but
OF WOLF AND MAN will tell you 43-38-1 is nothing to laugh at... OF WOLF AND MAN had
cause to celebrate, after FACELESS MAN got 20 points by beating WOODS. A certain
someone should cut down on the drinking and practice more, after losing 18 points to
FACELESS MAN. (Discrete enough, WOODS?) Can you believe it? CHAOS WARRIOR
apparently has better things to do as TROCAR's Duelmaster than show up and fight! In
TROCAR, nothing is permanent (except Death), and we find ourselves a new Duelmaster,
DANI. Word has it one team in TROCAR is using psychics to predict wins. They lead a
charmed life!
A Zenmaster once told me, 'Does not the spinning wheel turn? And do not the
little birds cry out?' Any ideas? Like a horde of jackals fleeing from the lion, so
did the "warriors" in TROCAR avoid TRADERS OF TROCAR. As a woman of good breeding
scorns the "warriors" of HOLD THAT TIGER, so did that sorry team shy from TRADERS OF
TROCAR Everyone is famous for fifteen minutes, and KESTUTIAS is it right now. Most
challenged warrior. Isn't OF WOLF AND MAN proud!
Is there life after death? Pragmatics (and warriors) know there is death after
life! Questions are being raised about the disposing of severed body parts in the
arena. A certain tavern in TROCAR would I avoid!
All good things must come to an end. My fingers tire and I fear my incessant
prattling may cause unfair judgement upon my impeccable character. TROCAR, I leave
you now. The Duelmaster has agreed to foot my bill at The Dripping Blade. 'Til next

All -- I really should clear this up. Haven't heard much in the N/L's but the forum
was all lit up when I checked the other day. I'm still learning how to use my
friend's P.C. so give me a little time before I jump in entirely. My mistake was
unintentional at first, as for some reason I though it was a 10 turn affair. Some of
you may have noticed that I've only mildly been paying attention. Sure, I could have
called in and had it changed. Then I saw Ginney's remarks, and remembered past ones
about another dead warrior. When you kill mine, well hey, no problem! Just one
thing, don't gloat, because that's what ticks me. I will be a man and offer my
apologies to both Rillion and to all others who may have been offended...except Max.

All -- I've seen what's on the forum. So I'm prey, am I, Max. You and all your
devious buddies will become my prey, even those I thought okay. I don't have to
explain anything I do, much like yourselves so bring it on. Feel free to come over
to 31 for a thrashing. Oh, by the way, I am also in a new alliance. They tend to
share my sentiments about the VC. If they follow me or not, we will see; I'm not at

The 2006 Mordanti Alliance Olympics are off to a grand start! With seventeen teams
declared, running under eight different flags (not to mention six additional non-
Olympic teams present), it is looking to be as tough as any previous Olympiad, if not
more! Olympians petitioned the Commission to make an allowance for late entries, and
the Commission agreed, and will allow new entrants to partake, as long as they are
active by Round 3 (T546, due May 29th). So if you wish to enter, please email your
intentions to amicitia@gwi.net with team name, manager name, and affiliation
(alliance name or independent), or show up in Mordant (DM-1) on, or before, May 29th
and place your declarations in the newsletter!
