It was a pleasure to meet you, Madam Venusia, and I almost regret that I'm
graduating just as we get some interesting people joining us. Almost. It looks to
me like, win or lose, you'll take the title this time on points. And you might win,
stranger things have happened. Good luck!

If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
TROCAR brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Of course, we're all terribly
impressed to see NIGHTWING win a fight and gain 15 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk,
SLAVE-WARRIOR beat JOKER and JOKER lost 3 points. You're breakin' my heart. And if
variety is the spice of life, TROCAR may be getting bland, as SAMILDAR stays top dog
in the city. I'm not in a very good mood today, but why am I telling you this? You
want to know what's new, don't you, TROCAR?
My mother always told me, 'If you don't have anything nice to say, start
talking.' I loved that woman.
Ah, now we come to my favorite part, where we see all the guys who are dead and
gone, and get to see if their team cared. Nipped in the bud, you might say, was
MOKAN of KIWI CONNECTION II this turn. Course, I wouldn't say that, so much as have
a belly laugh. Heh heh. Honor is like a chainmail shirt, it only shines through
use. Certain nameless cowards will doubtless rebuke me on this one.
There's got to be a better place in TROCAR to get a drink than The Swinging
Aardvark! Any suggestions? Just wait 'till next time I show up here, I won't be so

POSTED: Arena recruitment effort, DM 32, Arvat -- seeing as our arena Participation
has dwindled in recent months, we're offering the following incentive to any new
teams looking for a new home arena. We will GIVE a Free Rollup to any manager
willing to agree to fight in Arvat for the next 10 turns. We have a number of VERY
solid arena teams stockpiled, and while we don't promise tournament godlings, we are
certain we can come up with teams with 3, 4 or even 5 solid arena warriors to start
out with.
In addition we'll honor any no-challenge requests by relatively new managers to
help you get off on the right foot.

WINTER FACE-TO-FACE IN SUNNY ARIZONA!
Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 14-16, 2011. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-894-7444), the same hotel as
last year by popular request. Room rates are $129.00 per night, 1-2 occupancy, which
includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary manager's reception (yes, really!), free
airport shuttle, free parking and free high speed internet. There's a fitness center,
jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--please make your reservation by December 22
before the block is released! (This is prime season for Phoenix, and people have been
unable to book rooms because they waited too long.) Look for the tournament info
sheet and minioverviews some time in December. We hope you're all looking forward to
it and that we will see you there!
