                                      SPY REPORT

Ready for some action-packed adventure, some thrills, chills and spills? Well
fergit it, cause this is the Spyreport for TROCAR. MVP award for MIMOSA? CRUX's
proud of him after beating WHIMSICAL and getting 13 points. Talk about yer big time
losers! WHIMSICAL got smashed by MIMOSA, and lost 9 points! What a putz! IMAI
fights so hard to be Duelmaster, then quits fighting and loses the title. No one
said she was a genius... Was that a tear I saw in SMALL TAMER's eye, as she took
over Duelmastership? And wasn't FIR fit to be tied! I hear the top team insists all
their warriors get nine hours sleep. They want photogenic fighters for PR photos.
So just why would someone becomes a warrior anyway? It can't be for these
really neat Spyreports can it? BOOK OF THOMAS was the most avoided team. Is a
82-61-4 record really that scary? Is there some deep dark secret why PLANET 9's been
avoiding BOOK OF THOMAS so much? Or is it just that they're too scared?
Challenges, revenges, Bloodfeuds. All TROCAR ever talks about is fighting! Me,
I'm more laid back. Hey you guys, don't you think your families would like to hear
from you? Write! (Or have someone write for you.)
I really didn't, you know, study when I was a kid. Who would've guessed I'd be
a famous Spyreporter? I'm getting tired of writing this stuff, so I'm calling it
quits. I had a fun time, see you later-- Debby Tonte

                                  LAPUR ARENA ALERT

Hammer read and reread the message that had been delivered to the veteran manager via
special courier, as the Duel 2 Sponsor and current manager of Milchamah Return in the
DM 93 Noblish Island Arena was preparing to write another article for the purpose of
informing and encouraging New Players in the development of their early managerial
careers.

"Lapur Arena DM 29 has fallen upon hard times! Are you willing and able to embrace the
challenge of helping to restore Lapur to its former glory?"

The request had come from the Head of the Gladiatorial Commission.

Hammer realized that although the Lapur Arena was housed in a modest building, that
the Merchants and Wardens of Lapur merely tolerated as a necessary nuisance, due to
their suspicions regarding the possibility of dark plots engineered by Sheila
Greywand; the sometimes fragile economic balance of trade routes between Lapur and the
other Free Blades Arenas cities, plus the outlying Delarquan and Andorian cities, was
deeply interwoven with the apparent successes or failures of DM 29 that hinged upon
the precarious reality of whether or not Lapur was perceived as a thriving fighting
arena!

It was well known that the Lady of the Isle was not particularly popular in Lapur,
because of her decision to lump Lapur in with "all those Northern rabble" in the Free
Blades Arena, but it was common knowledge that maintaining a thriving fighting arena
was "good for business" and Lapur had apparently fallen upon hard times, according to
the message Hammer had received by special courier.

The veteran manager did not have an inactive stable in Lapur, nor could he remember
ever having had a stable in DM 29, but he knew the importance of aiding ailing arenas!

After all, the veteran manager had been known to recruit managers to activate stables
in a variety of arenas over the years, especially with his famous contests from years-
gone-by, but contests required a special motivation and fire deep within his soul to
commit to such enormous endeavors!

But, as Hammer pondered the request for his help to do something to assist in the
growth of fighting stables in DM 29, the inner passion of creating a competitive fire
for hosting a contest in Lapur to attract old and new managers to DM 29, simply did
not exist inside the veteran manager, especially since he was still hosting the Kaltos
Kaos contest in Arena 5; and quite frankly, the veteran manager had no desire to host
any more contests in slowly dying arenas!

However, the veteran manager would not turn a deaf ear to the request from the Head of
the Gladiatorial Commission!

Hammer sent a reply to the Head of the Gladiatorial Commission that he would do what
he personally could to help grow and restore Lapur to a competitive and entertaining
fighting arena!

Then, the veteran manager got a good night's sleep, before deciding which of his
inactive stables that had not fought in a Basic Arena, other than DM 93 Noblish
Island, would hold his interest in Lapur, while keeping his word to the Head of the
Gladiatorial Commission to personally assist in the restoration of DM 29 to some
semblance of its former glory!

But, when Hammer awoke, there was no inactive stable that held his interest; however,
he did have one stable that had been retired upon graduating from DM 93 Noblish
Island, that could serve as a temporary answer to the request, until a more suitable
stable graduated from the Noblish Island Arena in the distant future!

Hammer sent a summons via special courier to the DM 71 Kyr'terr Arena for 5 Card Draw
to abruptly end their retirement and immediately report for duty at DM 29 Lapur Arena!

"May Your Blades Be Sharp and Your Wits Sharper!"
